Two-bedroom place, quiet street, near skytrain and groceries, Vancouver

  • Welcome to your home away from home in Vancouver! Sleeps 4 (1 queen bed, 1 double bed, an option for 1 extra double bed) and includes 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining place, a kitchen, a bathroom. In summer, you are welcome to the garden and a patio.

    We are located in a 12 min walk from the skytrain (or 4 min by bus), which will take you City centre in 17 min. 20 min by car from the airport.

    Groceries, restaurants, a big rainforest park is a walk away. Our house is on a beautiful, quiet street, yet only minutes away from all the amenities.
    Your space is completely private.

    Self check in. Late check in is ok. Washing machine /dryer included. Small pet ok (with a pet fee) Free street parking. We recycle plastics, glass, carton and try to be economical with energy.

    Note: you might hear steps from above. Our family of three responsible adults lives upstairs, and you are on the lower, above ground floor.

    When booking, please let us know at which time you are planning to arrive.

The suite was incredibly quiet, clean and felt like home. The neighbourhood was quiet and close to all amenities. We greatly appreciated the quiet and our pup Pablo felt right at home.

Very safe and convenient location, the host is very friendly and reliable, there is a great park nearby for short walks, very accessible to downtown area, great place for a lot of food. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would go back.

quiet oasis in the big city

we enjoyed 4 nights in this exceptionally clean and well decorated suite. The neighborhood is single family residential with amazing treed streets and very quiet. Our host, Marina was accessible and very helpful.

It was an enjoyabe stay.

Listing is as described! Host was very helpful and excellent with communication. Very clean place! The only thing I'd say is the beds were a bit stiff for my liking, but the couch was ultimately the comfiest of them all, like a cloud. Thank you Marina for the enjoyable and pleasant accommodation! Definitely recommend!

We arrived after dark and were so appreciative of Marina's text with address & details which meant I didn't have to search on my phone. I was even more grateful & reassured when Marina stepped outdoors to say my name and walked us to our door and turned on lights, and welcomed us. So kind & gracious.Our vacation rental was so clean, comfortable, spacious, safe & quiet. Parking was easy and free in a quiet neighborhood. The skytrain station is a short walk away and was easy to use. The rental had a full-size refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, electric water kettle, instapot, all the things. Very tastefully decorated with nice landscape and floral paintings which I was so happy to learn Marina painted.Marina was very welcoming and available, just the right amount of contact & messaging. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed sightseeing and meeting our future daughter-in-law's family. Very restful home-away-from-home.We will stay here again when we're able to visit Canada again in the future.

The host was wonderful and the space was very clean. During the winter the space can be a little dark and cold which is to be expected in a basement with homes on either side but a space heater and lots of cozy blankets are available. I expect it would be refreshingly cool in the hotter summer months. It was a quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to Safeway and most of the restaurants in the area are Asia food. We rented the space for 6 weeks and would stay there again.

My family and I really loved staying here. Marina the hostess communicated fully and clearly in the lead up to our vacation and was very kind and generous with our requests and needs throughout. The place housed 5 of us quite comfortably. The shower in the bathroom is beautiful! We loved the fact that it was only 3 minutes to the grocery store and that we could walk to the SkyTrain and easily catch buses to downtown and UBC from the location. I would highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our one week here! The property is very close to a grocery shop, and 5 min to bus / 17 min walking to SkyTrain. It has 2 bedrooms, and a living room with a sofa bed. Expect to hear some steps above, since host lives upstairs. Marina was very quick to answer any concerns/messages. I recommend staying here!
