Spacious and modern apartment near UBC
The apartment is on the lower level of a modern West Coast house (built in 2012), situated in the quiet residential West Point Grey neighborhood. One block away from the famous Pacific Spirit Park and UBC Endowment Lands - National Geographic rainforest right at your doorstep. 5 minutes from UBC by car or bus, or 10 min on the forest bike trail. 5 blocks from West 10th eateries, cafes, and shopping. 15 blocks from Spanish Banks famous beaches. Private bike/gear storage available. Polished concrete floors offer uniform ambient heat (no carpets) controlled with a NEST thermostat. This space is perfect for visiting professors, two adults or a small family with it's two full-size bathrooms and king and queen size beds in the bedrooms. Summer 2023 update: Remodelled walk-in rain shower in the master bathroom.

We were very happy with the location, parking was easy, right out front. Host needs to be more responsive to questions host.whenever trying to reach her
We were in Vancouver over Christmas, visiting our daughter who attends UBC. The house is located five minutes from the west side of campus and a great grocery store so very convenient! it’s in a very nice/quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and well appointed. Would certainly stay here again.
The place is clean and well laid out. The neighbourhood is quiet with beautiful forest trails 1-2 blocks away. Walking distance to bus lines and shopping for groceries. The host was very accommodating to any requests we made.
We had such a wonderful stay! Juliette is a fantastic host. We really enjoyed this spacious and quiet unit….we have never slept better. The unit was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the proximity to Pacific Spirit Park is incredible. We really enjoyed morning walks in the park. The daily greetings from the adorable and friendly dogs were so nice, it felt like home.

First day unit was extremely hot and uncomfortable but as subsequent weather improved so did the comfort. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood and the trails close by.
Really great place for a small family. Clean and cool, and the owner was great about getting us checked in early and extending our stay due to flight scheduling issues. Central location made it convenient to get where we needed to be. The only reason I didn’t rate the place 5/5 for cleanliness is because there were wet towels left in washer, which wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise, 5/5.
Great location to stay in Vancouver. Residential area within walking distance of many attractions - parks, beaches, shops and UBC. Fully out-fitted kitchen and laundry.
The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. Juliette and Anita went above and beyond as hosts. The beds were comfortable and sheets were soft, we all slept well. We can’t wait to go back!
I have chemical sensitivities and needed a place to stay that was fragrance free and Juliette was incredibly helpful in making this a scent free refuge for me. Very clean, quiet space and much larger than I needed. Great bathtub to boot!
It was ok for our needs. We were going to the Folk Festival and it was close by and easy to get in and out.
We had some issues with the shower in the master bath but the owner responded with getting a plumber to fix it. We also felt that the second bedroom needed more pillows and again the owner brought us a new set.
We felt that for the price it was ok. Again nothing fancy, and if you were to want to cook I would not say that it was outfitted well. We ate out except for breakfast and it was ok for that.
This was excellent lodging for two couples for one week in Vancouver. Having two bathrooms was perfect, and the living room was very comfortable for all of us. Because it is a basement unit it stayed cool during a week of mid 70 degree (F) weather. With the floor fans provided it likely would have been fine even with rarer higher temperatures. Motion sensing outside lights made it safe to use the outside stairs at night...The neighborhood shopping street on 10th Ave a 10 minute walk away had everything we needed: grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, hardware, coffee houses and bakeries. And several restaurants, including Greek, Indian and Japanese. It does not, however, have a late-night scene like the West End or Commercial Drive. Several bus lines are nearby and it took little time to get to UBC or downtown with the express 99 bus. Interestingly, the Uber rates were about half of what I pay at home in San Francisco.

We have stayed in this suite twice. It is clean, spacious, light and well appointed.
West Point Grey is outside Vancouver’s heavy traffic. So, it’s easy to pop out for food, to shops and to UBC. It is half a block from Pacific Spirit Park.
I would highly recommend it to friends and family.
Basic but mostly clean basement apartment in a fantastic neighborhood in Vancouver's west end.
The only issues we has were a moldy dishwasher and noisy upstairs neighbors. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.
Great basement level apartment, close to parks and museums. Short drive to downtown Vancouver. Nice to have two full bathrooms. Needs a little extra attention to clean the shower floor in the primary suite and vent hood above the stove. Other than that, nice rental!
My guests and I had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well kept suite in the Point Grey neighborhood in Vancouver BC. Being close to Pacific Spirit Park, Jericho Beach and the many restaurants and amenities our guest experience was excellent. We will be booking this fabulous suite again. Great space, two bedroom and two bath was nice. Very bright, clean and would stay here again. Very close to the university, kits beach and plenty of restaurants in the area.
This a beautiful and comfortable space. Super comfortable beds. I would say the only downside is that when the upstairs unit is rented as well you do get a bit of noise from the people upstairs. But that is pretty par for the course for a downstairs unit. We for sure stay there again.
