Do not book here unless you enjoy giving away your money and getting nothing in return. Expedia said that I could check in until midnight. I messaged the hotel at 8 pm to tell them I'd be coming in at 11 pm, nobody answered. Their phone was off and not taking messages. A note on their website said that the office closes at 5 pm and that we should contact them before 5 to get the lockbox code. They could have emailed or texted me the code when I first booked, but didn't. There was no way to reach them or to get into the room I had prepaid. I had to find somewhere else to stay at 10:30 at night when I arrived in Vancouver. I have emailed the hotel and Expedia to request a refund but have heard nothing.

All reservation we did send out code thru Expedia, or inquiry guest to contact Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park directly once reservation had made, or before check-in. We did not know why you did not received any information, also, we did not have your e-mail contact you directly. We will do better working with Expedia in the future.

The property is located in decent location. That's all the positives. Coming to negatives, not stroller friendly. We had to get kids out of double stroller every time we need to get in or out, very inconvenient. One of property managers - I think his name is Kent is extremely weird. Among all the conversation, I can mention two of them. One was while running in lobby (which I guess toddlers do often) my child bumped into the lampshade pile they kept in middle of narrow walkway. He asked me to keep watch on my child instead of apologizing for keeping stuff where it doesn't belong. Secondly, we requested for some tea bags they kept on first day of stay and he arrogantly advised to get it from outside. On one of times while passing through the lobby, we heard him offering some other guests extra coffee bags if they would like.. so it came out a bit rascist to us. It was not content but tone that was starking - never heard such a tone in any of the properties we stayed so far. Among all of them, only one of managers Dinesh seemed decent and willing to listen. NOT WORTH THE COST and LOCATION. would recommend staying somewhere else if you can.

We stay here annually as it is close to family and we don't need to rent a car. Walking distance to everything in the west end of down town. The staff are lovely and it is always a home away from home.

We’ve stayed here many times. The property is aging and needs a facelift but it’s inexpensive and right next to Stanley Park. The rooms are clean and are actual apartments (the property was an apartment building before Expo ‘86) so they are much larger than a comparable hotel room for the price. The copper leaf doors to every room and the vintage elevator gives the place a ‘50’s vibe. Denman St is steps away with restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Try Aussie Pies.

Area is very convenient, but the property toooooo old. Doors not open properly, underground parking toooo narrow, front desk people hard to reach, cleaning person you have to ask them to clean, otherwise they won’t come.

This is a prime location, a hidden gem! Safeway and No Frills are within walking distance for your groceries, Lost Lagoon and the seawall are so close to walk to, and the local restaurants are amazing to eat at! Lots of variety! If you’re looking for modern bathrooms and kitchens as your first choice in a suite, this isn’t it. But it is very clean. I didn’t care that the hotel was dated. I had an amazing stay and the staff were very friendly! It truly felt like home away from home!

Lots of space for our family. Room is a bit run down and the shower curtain needs to be replaced as moldy around the bottom, but good value for money. Staff lovely and accommodating. Great location.

I loved staying at the Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park. These cozy apartments really are right at Stanley Park so you can go for a walk or run. The staff were lovely, with a huge kudos to the cleaners. The office staff were helpful and cordial. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and quiet. The property has aged somewhat and needs some paint and minor repairs but nothing significant. All in all a great, really affordable and convenient place to stay in Vancouver.

We booked this 2 night stay through Expedia. The images that were presented for this property were NOTHING like the rooms themselves. The room was rundown, smelt old and musty, dirty couch, dirty fridge handles, bed was hard and springs could be felt through the mattress and the bed was squeaky. This all just by sitting on it. The lamp shades were stained and dirty. The tv stand had a door tilted from trying to fall off. The carpet had been overstretched so it was all rumpled. The overall condition was brought up to the front persons and he had a bit of attitude and blamed Expedia for the wrong representation. He showed me another room but it was in the same sort of condition so we actually opted to leave the hotel. We had booked a 2 night stay, and were refused a refund of any kind. I would not recommend this stay!

The unit was quite nice. 2 bedroom with 2 bath, a kitchen, living area and seperate dining room. The neighborhood was beautiful, a half block from Stanley park and walking paths on the ocean. Just two blocks the other way was a nice little coffee shop and other shopping with a Safeway handy.

Convenient location, old property
The property seemed like an apartment building converted into a hotel. The location was very convenient to Robson street, Safeway, Stanley Park, and restaurants. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was old and had a strange smell but very clean. It came with a full kitchen, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, and multiple small appliances. The bed in the master bedroom was old and bowed in the middle, and was uncomfortable for 2 people. Parking was extra and very tight for a mini van.

Our room definitely had been smoked in just prior to, the room had a horrible stale smell, the windows were open when we arrived and we could barely close them on our own. The gentleman that greeted us was very rude, cold and uninviting. Not helpful at all. This felt like a low budget motel.

Thank you and we are so sorry to hear that, Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park is a non-smoking property. Smoking in any suite is strictly forbidden and will result in a minimum 500.00 cleaning fee. All public areas are strictly non-smoking. We will absolutely let out team know, and will do better in teh future.

Convenient parking. Comfortable, though somewhat outdated room with plenty of space for our family of 5. Helpful communication from the hosts however the front desk is only open for a limited amount of hours. Walking distance to shopping and dining options. Quiet neighborhood
