We had a quick stay at the place and it was incredible! Spacious for our group of 4 and was close enough to downtown for us to have a good night out. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay in this spacious, bright, and clean suite. Beautiful neighbourhood and great communication from the owners. We’ll definitely try to stay again the next time we come to Vancouver.
This is a lovely, clean and really nice sized unit. With 2 large bedrooms a well stocked and appointed kitchen and a beautiful great room with a fireplace and smart tv, this unit ticks all the boxes.
Will love to stay again as the area is really handy as well!
I had a wonderful trip. The apartment was beautifully put together. Everything you would need was there.
The owner is a super nice guy.
Already booked again for January!
We enjoyed our stay in Vancouver. The appartement was wel appointed, clean and there was enough space for a family of four. Clear communication about arrival and departure and easy on street parking. The bathroom is a bit small, but worked fine for us. Plenty of options for public transport nearby and a supermarket within walking distance.
Clean bright and bedroom suite in a quiet walkable neighbourhood
Well supplied nicely decorated suite. Steven was great host, excellent check in instructions and communication. Walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops and grocery store, but on a quiet street. I would definitely stay again and it was spacious enough that I could bring the other 3 members of my family.
Great host, the unit is equipped with everything you need for a self sustained (cooking for yourself) or eating out all meals. Comfortable beds, great neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again if our budget was the same. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is very small. Not a big deal except if two are trying to get ready to go out at the same time.
Overall our stay was ok. The unit was clean. But there were a lot of rules for the stay. Also it definitely felt like a basement unit. The ceilings were very low and the upstairs tenants just walking around normally was very loud throughout the whole unit. Our main safety concerns were that it was difficult to lock some of the older windows and there were no smoke detectors in any of the rooms. Good walkability to a lot of restaurants.
The apartment was very attractively furnished and decorated, with a good sized kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. Very attractive, electric, wall fire that looked beautiful with the flames dancing, and warmed the space very well. Three decent sized bedrooms, though one had no space for a wardrobe, or chest of drawers. That meant that one of our party had to “live out of their suitcase”. There is only one, compact, bathroom, but the shower was very good, and the sink and toilet were too. Unfortunately there are no laundry facilities in the apartment, which a shame, as that would be helpful in Vancouver, which is notorious for being a bit rainy. Access to the front door is only two steps down, so fairly easily accessible. The most annoying feature about the apartment was the very idiosyncratic electric keypad, which locked us out several times during our stay. Luckily Steven, our host, was very helpful, and easy to contact.
My friend and I wanted to stay in the neighborhoods to have a quieter vacation versus the more populated areas. This house is very cute and in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked and well decorated. The tv and fireplace were very nice touches! The bathroom is a little small as other reviewers have pointed out but all is clean and great for my friend and I to hang out in. The space is in the basement of the house and as such you can hear the owner in the space above. There are posted quiet hours from 11pm-8am for all parties to make it a more harmonious space. This time was respected by everyone. However while I was there it seemed that there was renovations going on. Hours and hours of grinding, hammering, and vacuuming in the floor above (up until quiet hours). It would have been nice to know about this beforehand or that these days were blocked out from being booked.
