The picture of this place does not do it justice. It is very beautiful. Everything was very well organized and clean. Everything we needed plus extras was thought of. Very quiet, close parking. It is a very nice, safe location. It is close to food and shopping. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Pros: Daniel is very responsive, and instructions are very clear, WiFi is stable and fast most of the time. The location is great! Plenty of parking spots in the street. Basically 15-35 minutes’ drive to everywhere (attractions). It’s a clean and cozy apartment. A full size fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, coffee machine, kettle, washing machine & dryer. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your own meals, all the utensils you need, pots, a pan, roughly 3-4 sets of tableware, glasses. , mugs Cons: Yes, reception is not working in the room, was not able to make phone calls actually. Could be a little noisy for each other (property owner & guests). During our 10 nights’ stay, we came back at 4pm for a few days where the property owner’s kids were loud, and maybe because of the holidays, they were playing in the basement until late (after 10pm for a couple of nights). It didn’t bother us as we went to bed late. The insulation is a bit concerning, and I hope we didn’t bother them coz we played board games for a couple of nights. Overall it’s a very nice stay!

Quiet Location but still near by many sites.

Unit was as advertised. There are some stairs to reach the entrance. Check in was smooth. Many parks near by which was great for my toddler. Unit had everything we needed for our trip. It was very easy communicating with the host when we needed something. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of street parking, always felt safe.

Home away from home

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were very helpful and respected my privacy. Everything was equipped in the unit. Its close enough to transit. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation getaway.

Beautiful but no so comfy

We found both the main bed and pull-out couch to be very uncomfortable. Nice hosts and beautiful suite though. Loved the location and parking was great.

Lovely place!

Check-in and out was simple. Nice clean, bright place, especially for a basement suite with few windows. Loved having a kitchen, even though all we made was toast. Wasn't sure about the induction hot plate as I've never cooked on an induction burner before. Wi-fi was solid. Stairs to the front door were a bit of a chore for me with a bad knee but otherwise a very nice place in a pretty neighbourhood. The only problem we really had was our phones would not work until we could get up to street level... both texting and phone calls. Frequently had messages with "emergency calls only" on our screens. Possibly because it's a basement suite? Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Relax and enjoy

Quiet neighborhood, pretty park nearby, if you have children theres a playground right across the street. Clean, quiet, all the ameneties. The deep tub was a nice surprise! Beds are comfy and soft. Altogether a very nice stay. Take into consideration that stairs down to door are steep but very safe.

Parents’ Visit to Vancouver

It was a wonderful time that my parents enjoyed at this basement suite. It was clean, cozy & convenient for traveling around the city. Would recommend anyone to book this place for their rental requirements. :)

We would return

We enjoyed our stay in this great apartment! It is a bit of a distance from the main attractions but was only a 10 minute drive to where my son lives. We did take the Sky Train and bus back one day and it was very simple. The apartment had everything we needed and we would definitely return if we come back to Vancouver!

Spotless clean, very spacious, easy to communicate with owners, very good bed. A little too far east for us. Our cell could not be used in the apartment-for optimal connection we had to go up some steep stairs; in winter or rain this would be a problem. It would be helpful if some packets of sugar would have been available for our first morning. Some coffee for the first morning, as we have found in other VRBOs would have been appreciated.

Nice, residential neighborhood

This is a basement apartment which is not mentioned in the description, which has an overview photo of the lovely house above. It is clean, well-maintained and has nice amenities. There are steep stairs going down, so pack lightly. The neighborhood is nice, and if you are driving easy to get around. It is about 1 mile to the nearest Skytrain station (Rupert), and food places. There is a very good Italian restaurant just about 4 blocks away and a nice park too. The internet TV did not work while we stayed, but otherwise all was in good order. The bedroom has nice bedding but is small with the bed filling the space such that the door is not easily closed, and maneuvering in/out not easy. For a visit with car, and wanting a quiet place this is good. It would be nice to have access to outdoor space as Vancouver is a nice place with lovely mountain views not seen from the apartment windows.
