Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that having four people in a double room was not allowed. I calmly explained that we had never encountered this policy before and asked why we would need to pay for an extra bed, especially since our baby doesn’t even use one. "We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely place outside of Bergerac. Our superior room was large, light and airy, as was the bathroom. It’s a peaceful place to be. Although the hotel has a very good restaurant, we found nothing to eat.the breakfast was disappointing and not to the same standard. Some croissant and choice of breads/ cereals would improve things, as might eggs made to order. "
