Country House in Dordogne

"We stayed in Bayac at Phillips place for a week with friends and kids. It was a fantastic week. We especially enjoyed the perfect pool and the bbq. For the kids it was for sure Flame, Phillips dog. "Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"We picked this farmhouse due to the close proximity to our family. What we found was an amazing place! Full of character and full of a family warm feel. It’s an old building so not perfect but was perfect for us. The owner and property manager were fantastic and dealt with our every request. The property is well equipped with everything you could need. As it is winter we didn’t have use of the pool but in summer I could see this place would be even better. Would definitely book again. "

"As a family of 6 adults and 2 children we stayed here for just over a week in August 2025. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia...
