Pleasantly surprised to find an elevator in the 3 storey building, very thoughtful. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Owners were very nice. "The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot.

breakfast doesn't open until 9AM, which is quite late if you want to get up and go somewhere, so we had to get breakfast at a different place.

"Good location, paid for parking available although we didn't use it. Staff friendly enough.
The photos of the rooms on Expedia don't reflect the rooms, or at least the one we had. Our room on the first floor facing the car park smelt of cigarettes, possibly from people smoking directly downstairs. There are some seatings to the front of the hotel where smoking is permitted so you always walk in to the smell of it.
When someone came to clean our room, they knocked over many of the items in the bathroom including the toothbrushes which were all left for us to pick up.
Our room had a pod coffee machine and paper cups, not very environmentally conscious.
There are other places in town I would try next time, especially for the price we paid for our stay. "
