The gite was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Jacques SORBIER and his wife, the hosts, were very hospitable and greeted us on our arrival. We managed to communicate via email, despite our basic level of French. The gite is in a lovely rural location with far reaching views of the countryside, but is well located to explore the surrounding villages of the Dordogne. The picturesque village of Saint Alvere is only 5 mins drive and the larger town of Bugue, with a supermarket, is only 15 mins drive. Highly recommend a stay at this gite.

Très bon accueil des propriétaires, par contre un peu chaud sur cette période de canicule, une Clim peut être dans les chambres serait la bienvenue. Vue au top, ajouter des arbres pour faire de l’ombre dans le jardin. Très bon séjour

De gastheren waren uiterst gastvrij, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het huis zelf mooi en rustig gelegen, prachtig uitzicht, ruim en geriefelijk (keuken, badkamer en sanitaire voorzieningen). De bedden hadden ook goede matrassen. Het enige minpuntje was de warmte binnen als het buiten warmer was dan 35 graden (tip; airco?) maar gelukkig was dit maar enkele dagen.
