Fantastic!

Honestly, we cannot say enough great things about this beautiful house and property. We were wowed from the very beginning by the interior design and the comfort of our surroundings. The pool was a lovely respite from the heat. Alexandra is a wonderful host and she made us feel so at home. We are looking forward to returning as soon as possible. Merci beaucoup!

A Magical Family Holiday

We had a fantastic week in this majestic manor. The grounds were beautiful, the pool huge, beds comfy. It had everything we needed and we had plenty of space to spread out which was great as we were a group of four families. What we particularly liked about the house was the beautiful artwork, architecture and decor and the fact that this is a much loved family home. We felt instantly at home and very much appreciated Madam’s warm welcome and the help she gave us. We walked into the village most days. It has a brilliant little shop and lovely patisseries, cafes and restaurants. We spent hours by the pool and visited caves and castles and went canoeing. I think we all agreed it was one of the loveliest houses we have ever stayed in.

Superbe chartreuse, intérieur plein de charme, aux vastes volumes et à la jolie déco. Magnifiques extérieurs très bien entretenus. Lieu très calme où une famille de 14 personnes peut cohabiter avec aisance et sérénité.

Maison idéale pour vacances en famille

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette très belle propriété. La décoration y est soignée, le parc est très agréable avec de très beaux arbres, la piscine est top, c’est un lieu très confortable, très calme et idéal pour des vacances familiales. La maison est assez grande pour que chacun puisse vivre à son rythme, c’est tout à fait ce que nous recherchions. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la région qui est magnifique.

Magnifique demeure au cœur de la Dordogne

Magnifique maison de famille dans un parc splendide. Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour et recommandons chaudement cette belle adresse .les chambres sont confortables et la literie excellente.La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Quelques petits détails pourraient être améliorés mais n’ont en aucun cas nuit à la qualité de nos vacances. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Absolute Heaven

My family , fourteen of us from 70 to 1 year, had a memorable and joyful two weeks at Les Ormeaux. The house and grounds are magical. An easy walk takes you into the village , and there are many very good places to eat within an easy drive. Alexandra made the process of checking in and out easy; the caretaker Georges was onsite in case of any problems. I envy anyone who finds themself in this very special place!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances entre amis dans cette magnifique demeure. Les enfants profitaient de l'immense parc, nous, de la sieste sous les magnolias, manger midi et soir dehors... et la piscine, quel bonheur ! Nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons pu profiter des activités de la région (brocante à Sainte Alvère, canoé, la Roc Saint-Christophe, tennis...) Bref, nous vous recommandons ce lieu d'exception.
