"Just about everything in Rapa Nui (including much of the water) needs to be brought by boat or plane from Chile and often from farther afield. As a result, things are used and repaired until they fall apart. This shows in some areas of the hotel. If you take that into consideration, this hotel is very well run. We appreciated the suggestions and help from the staff, as well as the free transfer to and from the airport."

"This was a perfect experience for what we wanted. Carla is amazing. Pick up was easy. She arranged a rental for us to use. The lodge was secluded (which we loved and wanted). It was clean and view of the ocean from our window and balcony along with the stars at night beyond perfect. We will stay here every time we visit. "

Maria is a gem, giving me loads of island information and the lady boss shared lots of information about usland culture and customs. "We had a wonderful stay at Cabañas Vaiora during our time on Easter Island. The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The staff was incredibly kind, and Silvia, the owner, was truly exceptional—warm, accommodating, and always quick to respond to all of my questions. The location is good; it’s about a 10-minute walk to town, which was totally doable for us. We actually appreciated being in a quieter area, as it made our stay even more relaxing. The cabañas also offer a great level of independence, with easy and private access that made us feel right at home. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Cabañas Vaiora. We’d love to return on a future trip! "
