"The term they use rustic at least our definition that we looked up, says in the mountains are back in nature which you are in a cabin on the side of a lake, but you’re in the middle of a town Covington and you have other cabins or neighbors a lot of people live full-time there you could throw a stone at and hit on either side. One thing I’ll mention that we missed. I guess it’s it’s it’s in there but we sure didn’t see it. It’s not highly advertised. There’s no shower or bathtub.. do you wanna say about the measurement of fishing one of the things that makes up for a lot of it if you’re a fisherman fishing there for rainbow trout was amazing early morning to mid morning right out front trolling very slow with I would tell you, but it’s my secret kill them and I got one that’s gotta be 6 pounds biggest rainbow I ever caught and I caught others that were 3 pounds 4 pounds"

The beds and blankets were exceptionally comfortable, which was great after a few long days of hiking The kitchenette was well stocked and perfect for our stay, and every detail covered. The views of Mt Rainier was truly spectacular! The host was fantastic with clear communication and excellent directions that made it easy to follow. This was a special trip for me and my mom, a mix of hiking and a bit of work, and this home made it even more memorable. "My wife and I booked this rental for a two-week vacation with our parents, and we had an incredible experience. The entire process, from booking on VRBO to check-in, our two-week stay at the lake, and check-out, was first class and seamless. The house and lake access were simply outstanding. The property is in excellent condition, with incredible views, and it is very spacious and clean. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our hosts were an absolute pleasure to work with, very communicative and always ready and willing to provide any information we needed. We saw a variety of wildlife, including eagles, deer, and many different bird types. The outdoor experience was simply breathtaking, and the lake views were incredible. We highly recommend this location and rental to anyone needing a peaceful getaway with lake side access and outdoor activities. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Every detail of the home showed how much care the owners put into making guests feel welcome. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful lakeside getaway."

"We appreciated our stay and enjoyed the house. A few things I would recommend are to spray some WD40 on the shared bathroom door, as it would wake members of the household up whenever someone used it in the middle of the night. Another suggestion would be to stock the kitchen with more basics (tongs, whisk, ziplocs). I would rate the stay higher except for one incident: the owners stopped by a couple times to go into the attached ADU unit, which is fine, except the first time we got no notice. I went for a walk with my girls and came back to a car in the driveway and seeing people through a window. I stood outside for about 10 minutes trying to get a hold of VRBO to make sure it was the owners. My girls and I were pretty spooked and almost called 911, so I recommend better communication in that sense. The second time they came there was an adequate day's notice."
