Located on the Texas Hill Country Trail in the settlement of Utopia. This custom built vacation home offers quick and easy access to Garner State Park, The Frio river and Lost Maples State Park, as well as the Vanderpool motorcycle museum, Utopia Park, Frio River and the Sabinal river.
Beautiful star filled nights await you, your family and friends. Enjoy the beautiful sun rise or the stunning moon rise and the warm Hill Country air from your private pool. Or spend your days taking in the incredible views and exotic wildlife on the 2,000 sq ft covered porch.
This home features 2 of every appliance to accommodate your large group. Each room has it own private bath with walk in shower.
Outside, a fire pit for your nightly S'mores roast as well as a BBQ pit. Don’t forget the Putting Green, Washer Pit, Swimming pool, Hot tub, Pool table, Shuffleboard Table, Ping-pong table, Foosball table and Washer boards all here as well.

Family reunion

We have enjoyed being in the country. This property is very close to Garner State park and the towns on Leakey, Concan and Utopia are fun to explore. Best of all are the games provided and of course, the swimming pool. A lovely place to spend time catching up with the family.

Amazing getaway!

My family and I absolutely loved Moondance Ranch. The house is beautiful with so much to entertain yourself with. The view was breathtaking and to watch the moon rise was amazing. Thank you Bill for the accomadation! We can’t wait to go back.

Incredible weekend

We had such a great time. House is beautiful, there’s something to do for everyone. The hot tub was very soothing. Bill is an amazing host. Very nice and made sure we were good. It felt like we were in a 5* resort.

Wow! Wonderful Utopia home

Our family (8 adults, 6 kiddos ages 6-10) LOVED our time at Moon Dance Hacienda. Wonderful home, comfortable beds, 2 of each appliance, beautiful view, great pool, ping-pong, Pool table, etc, etc. Bill was a terrific host, very responsive & helpful.

Annual Family Trip

We had a group of 22 family members ranging in age from 4 - 80. Everyone had a great time. The property is exactly as advertised. Kids and adults loved all the outdoor activities. And the view is absolutely amazing. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!!

Amazing House!!

Bill was amazing! He even put up with our late night Shenanigans 😂. We had a large group of 30 adults. There was something to do for everyone. We will definitely be back!

This rental was amazing! Activities for all ages, we were entertained all weekend. Which is what set this place above any other. The house was clean, had lots of space for everyone and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The host was very inviting and was readily available for any questions we had. We are already planning our next trip back.

Perfect for family reunion

The pool was a lifesaver for all of our kids. We had 15. It helped the rest of us be able to enjoy each other’s time while the kids played in the pool.

Exactly what we needed

Our party was two families who had their Spring Break trips canceled due to outbreak of Covid-19. So once that happen we started looking for a remote location that would still give us that sense of "being away." WOW, we found it. Bill's property is amazing and exactly what we needed before we returned home to isolation in our homes. He was excellent to work with from booking the property to accommodations during our stay. The property has a wonderful view, all the amenities you could possibly ask for and just a place that gave us peace of mind during this crazy time. Highly recommend this property and visiting the surrounding parks and small Texas towns. We will definitely be back to enjoy this property again.

Family vacation

The venue is fabulous, clean, and enjoyable rain or shine. People can swim, play golf, play yard games and board games. The kitchen and bedrooms are really nice. We love going there

Fantastic

This was our second stay at the Moondance, and it was just as amazing as the first! The property is spacious, with incredible views and a fantastic pool. There’s plenty to do right on-site, which makes it perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway. We’d definitely stay here again—such a great time!

Family Frio Trip

House was clean, well-stocked, and in a great proximity to the Frio River (Garner State Park). While the house was great, the owner can be a little overbearing. The owner will be there when you arrive to do a formal walk-through. They require that you do a formal walk-through to leave the property or you will be charged. Hopefully you dont need to leave early in the morning. The owner showed up three times while we were at the house unannounced. They both had my phone number and could have called or text when needing to stop-in. They live next door and just seem to not trust their property to anyone. If you pay 5200 for four nights stay I would expect a little more trust on their part. The pool was great, the putting green was fun, house description is accurate minus the fooseball table...not a big problem. Paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags are on you to provide. A little inconvenient when you dont know what size trash cans they have. Overall it wasnt bad. Property was a 10. Owner just made it a little less relaxing. Did our best to treat their property like it was our own and followed all the rules.

Memorable Friendsgiving

This place is just A-MAZING!!! We were a huge party of 26 people with ages ranging between 6-78. Tons of games and activities helped keep everyone busy. There wasn’t a single moment when we felt we could’ve made a better choice with the place. Excellent and beautiful place to stay in Texas hill country. To top it all, the owner, Bill was very accommodating and helpful in every way. We fell short of words to express how happy and content we were with our choice. We hope to come back to this place sometime again!

Amazing stay

We came here to celebrate my cousins bachelor party and we had a great time. The house is spacious and has a great pool with an amazing view. The owner, Bill, is super friendly and communicates really well. Overall, we had a great time and great experience at this rental property.
