Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main

Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main

10/10 Excellent
"Great location if you want to be close to Shinjuku, but not deal with the noise and the people. The hotel is hooked on the underground walkway to Shinjuku station, which is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. There are multiple restaurants in the building and two convenient stores and if that’s not enough right around the corner is a 7-11 the rooms are standard size for Japan. We were on the 23rd floor during an earthquake and the building stayed intact. No complaints."

Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

8/10 Good
"We had a pleasant stay at Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay overall. The welcome amenities were excellent, and we really appreciated the convenient location—especially the easy access to the station and the Lawson located within the hotel premises. One disappointment was the check-in policy. We arrived with tired kids and were hoping to check in even just 30 minutes before the official 3:00 PM check-in time, but unfortunately, this wasn’t possible. A little flexibility in such situations would have made the experience much better. The breakfast had a good variety, but I would have loved to see a live egg station where eggs could be prepared fresh to order. Overall, a convenient family-friendly hotel with some excellent amenities, but there is room for improvement in flexibility at check-in and breakfast options"

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

10/10 Excellent
"The room was smaller than expected but I hear all rooms in Japan are. The AC was very nice during the hot summer. Overall it was a very good experience. My only complaint is the coin laundry they have; the wash cycle takes 30 minutes and recommended 60 minutes to dry, this often causes a line for the dryers. Additionally, when I went to use the dryers, after a full hour my clothes were still damp. Other than that awesome hotel, love the godzilla display they have in the lobby :)"

Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay

10/10 Excellent
"COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER! So our late evening started at a hotel 11:30pm just down the street called Celebration. The worst experience I may have ever had. We canceled and took a chance at Hyatt at midnight. Unbelievable customer service. I’ve never experienced such a caring company. They could tell I had a long day and understood we had some terrible problems else wear and they realized. So they made sure I was fully taken care of. I wasn’t expecting anything but they chose to make my evening completely flip to a wonderful evening. Thank you so much. You will 100% have a customer for life. Thank you!"
