Hotel was undergoing renovations but not much of a problem. The buffet breakfast was ok 18USD. The restaurant was ok. Room comfortable on ground floor as we brought the dog 30USD night. Every room has a balcony it seems which is great. Big hill to climb if you go to the main street. Its right behind the lake placid museum and rink etc... close to everything. Trails driving distance away 30 minutes for most popular trails. It fit us well for what we needed for 4 day stay at a reasonable price 135USD night 185USD weekends non peak period (april 2026)"
