Top University & Pitt Rivers Museums Hotel Reviews
The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton
8/10 Good
"This is a big fancy hotel. We have stayed here before. It’s well-maintained and the staff seem friendly. But there are details that made this a less than excellent stay. Our room was literally blocks away from the front entrance - our GPS got confused when we were planning outtings— so if you’re not looking to get extra steps make sure to ask for a closer one when you check in. The bathroom was well appointed but the shower leaked and the sink was very slow to drain. There was an Nespresso machine in the room, but most of the coffee we were given was decaf. When we tried to order coffee to go downstairs they didn’t have any paper cups. So it was good - but not excellent."

"Excellent stay in a beautiful part of Oxford. Staff particularly lovely and accommodating."
Crown Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Crown Hotel. It has been recently renovated so everything was clean and bright and functioning. It also had good AC. The room was spacious and had a desk, chair and wardrobe. The beds were comfortable, not too soft. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The location was near restaurants and shops including grocery stores. There were several buses running frequently to the city Centre. However, younger people could easily walk."

10/10 Excellent
"Regular annual visitors to this hotel so knew what to expect. Room was large and clean. Staff we came across were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast room was very well stocked there was a really wide choice from the buffet. River walk of about 15 mins into the city. Very quiet at night on this occasion. Onsite car parking is £25 per day. Check in agent did not ask for payment and when i asked i was told it was included which surprised me as it never used to be. I went back later and challenged them on this again and surprise another check showed it wasn't so an apology was given and £50 was taken. Failure to pay would mean a £100 fine later on so beware of this. Couldn't get a stable picture on any tv channel which was a little frustrating but then we weren't there to watch tv."
Mount Pleasant Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room and bathroom is quite big and clean , I thinks it have been renovated, the reception area is a bit old and once I have entered my room I feel a bit better that they are quite cleaned. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not because they were lumpy and wearing off. The owner was very friendly and overall I am happy."

Charming Victorian Townhouse Central Oxford - Pass the Keys
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property with lovely garden. Property has 5 levels so perfect for young family. Three fans provided to circulate air. Great mattresses and bath is wonderful. Location is great with easy walk to restaurants, market and Magdalen College."
Beautifully designed flat in Oxford
8/10 Good
"This place certainly worked for what we needed. It was a very adorable, pretty small flat. The fact that we were in the middle of a heat wave was definitely problematic, as there were only a couple of fans. (Would recommend getting at least 2 more if the weather continues as it has.) It also probably didn't help that England was playing in the World Cup at 4am and there was a pub outside the (necessarily open) window. Other nights were relatively quiet, despite the proximity. As advertised, the flat sleeps four, though for a family of four traveling with luggage, it was a bit of a challenge. There's good security for the location, though the main gate, for which we received a code, was never once locked. The patio area below is utilized by various people, who can sit on benches, and some did for many hours (which, again, with open windows made it feel a little less private that it might otherwise have been). But our section of flats was secured by a different coded door, which provided good security. The lock box was also very convenient. The proximity to amazingly great food and pubs is a big selling point. If you are interested in getting into the city central, it's doable, but not a short walk. There's also good access to some natural areas fairly close. Initial communication was a little spotty, but once we moved in, the host was very responsive, helpful, friendly. Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but it definitely filled our needs."
No.192 Oxford
8/10 Good
"Stayed in room 3 for 2 nights, the room was clean and modern, but the tv didn’t have a remote control available and when a replacement was provided the tv still wouldn’t work. Thats why I’ve given 4 stars and not 5."
