"The location and amenities were ideal. I woke every day and walked to the nearby bakery for fresh bread and groceries. At the house, I could make tea or coffee, toast bread, boil eggs or anything else. There were two porches to enjoy the air and view, and it was easy to walk through the village. It was perfect!"

The hotel is typical for the region with the added benefit of offering its guests complimentary admission to the Chiemgau Thermen (a regional wellness center with pools, spa & sauna) which we were able to take advantage of. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "
