We Always Stay at Ochsenwirt

My husband and I have stayed at the Ochsenwirt many times and it never disappoints. The owners were on vacation but they provided us an excellent breakfast. We always feel like we are "home" while staying her. Highly recommend this establishment in Oberaudorf.

We really enjoyed our stay. Morning breakfast buffet was terrific. Plentiful and interesting. Nice beer garden to have lunch. Serve a great local beer. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our very limited German. Limited # of parking spaces, but some nearby if you stay out late and none are left when you return.

This was exactly what we expected and ao much more. A little escape in the mountains with beautiful views and you can absolutely walk everywhere while feeling completely safe. I would recommend this over and over again.

Move over Basil Fawlty

Lovely place. Clean comfortable. All bar one staff member was excellent!! Sadly the very rude older lady spoiled the reputation of this establishment. She has the customer service skills of Basil Fawlty. Would not return because of her. Rude , unfriendly, in the wrong job. Spoke to me like I’d just wiped dog poo on the table! Receptionist and young lads on the bar were brilliant!

Unser Aufenthalt war nur als Zwischenstopp gedacht. Wir wurden herzlich und freundlich empfangen und haben das hauseigene Wasser erhalten. Wir haben am Abend dort gegessen und es war alles sehr lecker. Das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war fast ein bisschen spät (7:30 Uhr) aber sorgte für einen guten Start in den Tag. Es war übersichtlich. Das einzige Kritikpunkt sind die weichen Betten und wirklich dicken Zudecken im Hochsommer- dadurch war die Übernachtung als solches nicht ganz so angenehm. Hervorheben möchten wir die lHundefreundlichkeit- wir konnten unseren Hund immer mit ins Restaurant nehmen. Auch der nicht weit entfernte Auerbach, hat uns viel Freude bereitet. Zum Planschen perfekt für Hund und Kinder.
