Perfect lakeside getaway
Everything about Hastingford fisheries was perfect! They really had thought of everything you might want or need for a couple of days away. Geraldine and Mark were the best hosts; welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable about the local area but left us to ourselves to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be returning! Tab and Sam

Lovely tranquil stay in the heart of Sussex countryside
We had a wonderful stay at Hadlow down, our cabin was next to one of the fishing ponds of which was one of the few in the grounds. The accommodation was well thought out, everything was there, this ranged from dvds to an aux cable for your phone, they even had a charge dock speaker. There was a kitchenette and a toilet with shower in our property, this also had table and chairs on the balcony as well as a bbq and seperate fire pit area, really nice for a glass of wine and a toasty fire in the evening, there was an added bonus of a wild swim pond at the top of the property of which Mark had fitted a ladder going to. The hosts Geraldine and her brother Mark were very hospitable and accommodating, we were left to our own devices but could count on them when we needed info. Overall a good stay.

The pictures and description don't do it justice
We had a wonderful stay. We were remote but were still in driving distance for all amenities. We managed to visit Lewes, Crowborough and Bluebell Vineyard on our five day stay. We took a dip in the natural pool and walked around the lovely farm and had plenty of time to chill. Three calves were born during our stay, they were very cute. The bathroom was really clean and only a short walk away from the hut, there was also a privy next door for night time visits. We had everything we needed with a TV, oven, fridge/freezer, BBQ and microwave. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

Perfect. A cosy stay.
It was a really clean, cosy stay. Wonderful location (we were travelling into Forest Row daily) and the drive was so picturesque too. Beautiful lakes and scenery. The accommodation was just what we were expecting, very neat, clean and in a relaxing environment. The hosts were also really lovely. Thank you for a great stay! We hope to return soon!

Idyllic lakeside setting and a cute hut. Good WiFi, very comfortable - our small terrier didn’t like the open stairs until he thought he could catch a duck!! V well equipped, lovely hosts and we’ll be back

Our lockdown getaway
Me and my boyfriend booked this stay around a month ago, and we when a second lockdown was announced we thought we would have to cancel, but we were kindly allowed to still come. We couldnt fault the stay at all, from the moment we got there we were impressed, the cabin was perfect and had everything we could ever need, and the hosts made us feel welcome and showed us where everything was. Definitely reccomend.
