Great place to come back to after a long day of site seeing. Clean rooms, comfy beds and hot water for showers. Staff very helpful when I needed my shower head replaced. I was thankful they were able to help with my laundry too. Area is close to cafes/restaurants and supermarkets. Clean pool and quiet. My group booked 4 rooms and we all had a good experience.

Very simple hotel in a small side road. But that is exactly what Ubud is about. Get away from the crazy traffic (jam) on the main road and relax along the small pool. You don’t want to step out. Breakfast was lovely and staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be coming back.

Basic accommodation, two star rating at best. When we were there, a large fsmily group monopolized the small swimming pool, making alot of noise. Otherwise adequate.

Overall Lovely
The service was responsive and good. The wifi was spotty and I couldn't rely on it for work. We asked for help to copy some pages from our passport for visa extensions and they were nice to help. The pool was lovely. Quietly tucked into the end of the street which was nice. AC works but sometimes not cool enough. GOOD seriously hot water.

Value for money hotel, which is at end of drive way, so no road noises. But next door there is wood workshop, which starts sawing at 8 am and gets noisy in the quiet place. Great pool. Bathrooms need refurbishing. Aircon did not work well but they arranged a fan for us. Breaky is simple and sufficient. Many restaurants within 10 minutes walk.

Very helpful English-speaking staff. Clean rooms, good air-conditioning, hot water in morning for shower, great breakfast. Quiet area of ubud but close enough for shopping. Better if you are staying with someone as was at end of dark alley, bit scarey going out at night, but would be fine with someone. Really good value for money

LOVED THIS HOTEL!
I loved this hotel! It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud; and I had the most gorgeous view of the paddy field across the hotel from my 2nd floor room. The owner is amazing too!

I stayed 4 nights in this small quiet hotel. The price is very cheap and you can get some nice views from the top floor rooms and restaurant. Some of the staff are nice and welcoming. The bedroom and bed is large but the bed very hard. The room was situated 2 steps from the pool. The pool is ok. The drive way is an off roadish rough ride/walk. I received a towel with marks that looked like mascara and dirty sheets. The breakfast is small and average. Overall this hotel is not for me. But I think could be good for the right person looking for a quiet stay

I really liked the coziness of the place and how quiet It was. The room was also nice and clean, however the WiFi was not working inside the bedroom. I had to take my laptop to the balcony. One thing though that I'd like to share here is to watch out of the hotel front desk person. He is nice but not honest when it comes to any outside service. Example he charged me 300 000 transportation from Ubud to Kubta when it's half that.

Nice and quiet.
The staff were lovely. The room could have done with a bit of a clean. The bed was comfortable. The door to our room had been damaged somehow and had to be slammed to close. Really nice pool and very quiet area set back from the main road.

Very high quality in all aspects. Breakfast is OK not great. Hotel is quiet and at end of lane. Just south of edge of tourist section; which may be viewed as plus (Ubud is trafficky) or minus (long walk.) The staff is superlative. Fewer rooms lends attractive intimate quality. Very well designed and operated.

Very good price for what you get! Recommended!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Kamandhani Cottage for over a week. Overall, we had a great experience. The hotel is in good shape, fairly clean, and has a nice pool. We got to know the staff and found them very accommodating and nice people! Next time we come to Ubud we'll be staying there again!

don't even bother! smelly dark alley location
upon arriving down a long dirty alleyway we got out of the taxi to an overpowering smell of sewerage, I commented to my friend who agreed. we got to reception and I said we had a booking. my friend looked in the window of a downstairs room and commented it had a queen bed, I said I had requested twin singles. receptionist said they don't have twin beds. this caused a problem as of course we expect a bed each. i had also requested rice paddy view, but was told no we would be downstairs. as we could not have a bed each i asked if we could have a full refund, she rang the manager who confirmed verbally yes upon being contacted by hotels.com. we DID NOT check in and had to organise alternative accommodation for 3 nights. this was a COMPLETE waste of a day of our "holiday". now apparently the manager "can not be contacted" and they do not respond to emails to confirm request. surprise surprise. I'm very unimpressed to say the least and out of pocket. if you are expecting to arrive to a nice property surrounded by rice paddy fields as the photos indicate you will be sorely disappointed, a concrete wall surrounds it. there are many beautiful places to stay in ubud, avoid this one, also unsure why called "cottages" they are not this from what i could see.

Lovely small hotel
We stayed there four days in November of 2014. The room was clean, the service was fine. I particularly enjoyed the pool. The location was far enough south of town that walking to the northern attractions was ambitious. But we're a healthy couple, over 65 years of age. One of the things we liked was that this hotel was recessed from the street - you go about two short blocks down a tiny side street to get there. A bit challenging for drivers, but it made the place nice and quiet.

Beautiful setting in the middle of town
We stayed a Kamandhani Cottage for 4 nights at the end of our trip to Indonesia. The hotel is down a narrow sidestreet with a pretty awful driveway, but once you get there, the place is really nice - the pool in particular is fantastic. The staff are good, although we found them a little unhelpful at times when trying to book taxis, but overall not too bad. The room is really nice and clean, so long as you keep your shoes outside. The cleaners are good and keep it really clean too. The room is literally just a bed and bathroom, but it is comfortable enough, with great air-con. Overall, I would recommend this place to a couple, maybe with children, I'm not sure what the facilities are like in that regard. Pleasant stay here.

quiet location, very friendly staff, a bit far.
quite neigborhood, Rice paddy field view for 2nd floor rooms. Pool view for bottom floors, but easy access to the pool. Simple toasts and choice of pancakes or eggs in the morning. Bathroom was ok, but need improvement and better choice of tile colors and floor. since this place is next to a rice paddy field, there are bugs going around. clean/comfortable bed. Modern toilet. Spacious room. Modern bed, safety box not bolted (terrible), no hangers for the nice closet. Spider webs under sink counter (can't see if shined light to it) Friendly Friendly Staff. The road to the hotel is really bad. It needs to be 1 smooth road with light leading into the hotel. close to some local eateries, and shops for your necessity. Not close to Ubud center by walking because in Ubud , walking isn't great because sidewalks are not created equal so walking is longer. Rent a bike or scooter. But we had good 3 night of quiet sleep which was important.

Too far from it all!
This place was a disappointment mainly because of the location and the fact that their shuttle only ran after 6pm and not on Sundays. This means that you have to ride taxis everywhere or walk out via an unfinished road to grab a mototaxi. The room was very comfortable although my AC struggled to cool it down. I asked for it to be looked at a few times and nothing changed. I woke up sweating every night. The bed was crazy comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight! the staff was really attentive. The banana pancakes were exceptional! and the fruit juices were crazy fresh. The front desk staff was helpful. They knew I was really annoyed by not having a shuttle and made up for it in every way. Before you judge I suffer from foot problems and walking can be hard for me so in order to see the museums I had to put as least pressure on my feet as possible. The price is high based on what I got at another Ubud property for the same amount. I didn't use the pool but it didn't look blue...

Awesome stay in Ubud.
Friendly accommodating staff that go above and beyond to please and help you. It a quite area of ubud. Nice relaxing stay. Made many new great friends. Breakfast is great to chose eggs or pancake and fresh fruit!!!

Near several attractions. Walking distance to ARMA
We walked to ARMA and spent the whole morning visiting the. Museum and strolling around the museum and resort area. We walked from ARMA to Dirty Duck restaurant for lunch and walked all the way back to hotel for rest. We walked out to town for Balinese massage and went to the nice Balinese food restaurant called Biah-biah which is just opposite our massage place. After dinner we walked back to our hotel. Saved money on taxi and good work out after nice food. :-)

Har bott på detta hotell flera gånger. Är i ubud på jobb och har motorcykel så läget är absolut perfekt för mig. Det finns även flera utmärkta restauranger på promenadavstånd. Hotellet ligger inbäddat bland palmer och risfält. Älskar poolen och personalen är hjälpsam och trevlig.

Lo mejor del hoel es su staff, todos super amables. El baño no me gustó. Pero en general bien...El desayuno en la alberca fue lindo pero todos te ven porque la alberca está frente a las habitaciones y hasta pena da desayunar frente a todos.
