"I gave our stay at Lawrence's Hideaway a five star rating, the home is very clean and comfortable. The house is set back off the road and is private, the neighborhood was very quiet. One thing I really liked was there was no clutter in the kitchen drawers and cabinets, if you have been to other VRBO's you will know that some homes are full of left over things such as ketchup packets, misc. take out dishes, etc. One draw back to this is there was no aluminum foil or saran wrap so I would suggest you bring some with you. One other small thing, but it was big to me, was there was a brand new wrapped sponge in the kitchen sink for our use, I so appreciated that! I have purchased new sponges in the past for some VRBO's because they looked too used. We usually travel to Lake Placid/Wilmington area at least twice a year and we will definitely rent this house again."

"The cabin was nicely decorated and provided all the necessary modern amenities. We loved coming home after a long day of hiking to enjoy the fire pit and wooded lot. We're already recommending the cabin to our friends! "

"This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything."

"The property was well maintained and very clean. Accurately described and a very inviting space to host our family. The kitchen was excellent for multiple cooks and the island seated everyone to enjoy our meals together. The instructions for the hot tub and sauna were well laid out and what a fantastic treat after climbing Cascade mountain! Our hosts were extremely helpful and very lovely, responsive and thoughtful. The bedding and sleep arrangements were excellent after long days of hiking. Many thanks and can’t wait to be back!"
