"The Railway Hotel Heyfield is a fabulous hotel! In a prime position and with a welcoming staff it’s an ideal place to stay… My siblings and partners have just enjoyed a weekend bike ride -the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail- and stayed for 2 nights in Heyfield at the hotel. We had one of the happiest, comfortable and memorable weekends we could remember. Dinners on both Friday and Saturday nights were delicious! The staff were friendly and most helpful during our stay. We thank them for the hospitality and look forward to a return visit when we come back to do the ride again!! Ps The Gippsland Plains Rail Trail is fantastic!!"

"Have stayed before, and stayed again this time, and would stay again. This tells you something. It's not anything flash, but it is 'clean' and comfortable. Ample off street parking. Reception was open this time, last time I used the self check in screen just to the left of the office (which also has a help number if needed). The location is good too, 3 min walk to the Moe railway Station & Moe Pub. Good pizza place 3 min walk, plus you can cross over the railway line into the main town area. All very easy. If you are looking for a reasonable cost motel in Moe, STAY HERE !"

"A cost friendly motel with free continental breakfas t- cannot complain. The room itself was clean, modern and included microwave and a full size fridge ( room 17 ). Geeat stay - the only problems were the ambient noise from other guests and a bit of road noise ( byt where doesn't that happen. Bed was great but the base structure was a little noisy when moving in bed."
