"Lovely property and perfect base to explore north Wales - amazing views of Snowdonia and fields around had hundreds of sheep in. Property was clean and had everything you need. Only negative (if we’re being very picky!) was the water pressure…took an age to run a bath and the electric shower above is not the strongest. The other bathroom with a mixer shower was fine. Overall, would definitely recommend and hopefully will return again in the future!"

"We had a great stay in North Wales, at Buarthau Cottage. Sykes were very good with any questions. The property is lovely & spacious, but a bit of a warren. It was clean & tidy, with logs for the fire. We were happy with our stay, however, we found the downstairs shower rather cold & we were 3 couples so we had to use it. The main issue for me, personally, was the big drop from the garden lawn to the patio, immediately outside the conservatory door. We had two dogs who should not have been...

"We stayed a week and the house was exactly as described - very clean and of a decent size. There is a full kitchen, even though some of the pots and pans are a bit old. I liked how we could adjust the heating to our comfort. The host was very kind on the two occasions we met her. Overall, good value."
