"Amazing location! Very real old time feel. In fact, we had a cabin on Twin Lakes 65 years ago and Tamarack Lodge was part of my early memory. Loved the live music and breakfast was good. Room was fun, but the bed wasn't the best. The floor was slanted and so were we! Not overly concerned do to the nature of the lodge. Don't get the" resort fee" as there are really no amenities, but it's the latest insult to travelers."

"The lodging was clean and inviting we absolutely loved it. Drove 8 hours for my first visit to mammoth and would stay here again in a heart beat! Its wonderful to have a room and full kitchen if need be at the same price as a normal hotel!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful house for weekend stay. Private hot tub was amazing. Mountain view was a definite plus.Some nit picky issues that were not up to par for such a nice house1. no propane tank for the grill - too late to call when we could not find it2. Loose handles on the kitchen faucet, living room window cranks and master shower door3. Oven door very loose on left side4. Non stick pans very scratched up"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from this property is so nice in the morning and sunset! The property was clean and spacious. There is plenty of rooms and bathrooms. There are stairs though. Our youngest were 2.5yo so the stairs were fine. The property is close to the lakes and close enough to Vons. We had a great time. The garage did not fit any of our SUVs but we were able to fit in the driveway."
