The Hideout - Cute, Peaceful, and Dog-Friendly Rustic Cabin on Au Sable River
10/10 Excellent
"The Hideout is exactly as described. It is the perfect location to feel secluded but not too far from “civilization.” The cabin was clean, warm, and cozy. We were very happy that we were able to bring our dog. We got great use out of the outdoor fire pit and the trails behind the cabin. We loved the Hideout so much we even stayed an extra day. "

"We had the most relaxing stay here! The property was spotless, beautifully set up, and had such a calm, welcoming vibe. We have never stayed at such a well-stocked house, and the little touches like Q-tips in the bathrooms were so thoughtful! We loved sipping espresso in the mornings, taking the kayak out during the day, and winding down in the hot tub at night—it was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Joe was an incredible host—so kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to come back!"
