"Property was easy to navigate and clearly marked. Visited the pool and hot tub area on the evening of our stay and found it neat and extremely relaxing and clean. They had tea, coffee and cookies offered in a counter area to the side. The room was excellent, one king bed with large counter and sink. Separated shower and toilet with door. The A/C heating unit was quiet. Two negatives: first floor room curtains need to close, small gap made me feel like someone could see in the room from the parking lot. Television volume couldn’t be adjusted without much effort and slowly increasing volume otherwise it would adjust back to no volume. Very weird!"

"Perfect getaway for the two of us. The house was cozy although we were on the lake most of the time, the dock was great for our boat . We caught bass and pike every day! The 75 plus steps going down to the lake were a little brutal going up but well worth the workout! Plenty of amenities and the host is quick to respond! Just to be safe bring coffee, zip locks or storage containers. Highly recommend!"

"Absolute 10/10 experience beginning with the owners being very accommodating and communication channels remained open even weeks before our arrival, and questions during our stay were answered quickly as well. Our group of 14 enjoyed everything from the upper outside deck, the fire pit, lower outdoor area right on the water, to the basement bar and lounge area. We would love to come back!"
Hale Haven - Lake House w/ Hot Tub and Loft

"Hale Haven is one of my favorite places we have ever rented! Sarah's communication was top notch and we had a couple of very minor issues that she took care of extremely fast and I was very impressed how quickly she resolved them! The place is spacious and our group of 8 women for a girls weekend felt like we had lots of room to move around and store all of our stuff. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There are some steps down to the lake but it is clearly shown in the listing. We made use of the dock to float in the lake and took a trip across the lake in the kayaks Hale Haven had. The paddle boat was not there (but this was also called out in the communication as being repaired) but it would have been nice to have because the lake is big enough but small enough. We loved the big kitchen table as our whole group could fit around it. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. All in all, this is a GREAT place and we are going to look here first for our girls weekend next year!"
