"We checked in on Thursday. Friday morning I called the desk and told them that housekeeping does not need to change sheets because we are staying only three nights. This turned out to be a huge mistake, because our room was not made up once during the stay. All I was doing was trying o save time for the staff. When we left on Sunday morning the glasses were still in the sink since Thursday night. We had to call the desk twice to request towels, coffee and coffee cups. We finally called and he bed was made yup, not changed, on Saturday night. The service was so-so. We were in room 305."

"The room was clean and the staff were great! However there was no fridge in the rooms and no ice machine on the 6th floor. The staff were very nice about getting ice for us which my brother had to have for his insulin especially since the rooms had no fridge. Also only one working elevator that took forever to get you up and downstairs. Overall though the hotel did have a charm to it."

"The staff were rude. They only put out enough breakfast for people when they walk in and you have to hand them a ticket and then it’s only enough for a small serving. The place smelled terrible. The beds were not at all comfortable. Would never go back. "

"The property was beautiful and clean but the only takeaway was ladybugs everywhere. I was visiting from D.C and in Birmingham for a funeral. The signage at check in warned of the infestation but I didn't realize the severity. They truly were everywhere in the room, crawling on me, flew in my drink, my hair. I woke up with them in my bed. I was too tired the night before to notice them, which I'm glad otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep"
