"Our stat was okay but the musty smell was one of the biggest issues. There were a few deck boards were broken, the lawn wasnt cut, and the shower faucet was leaking behind wall. I did report to the host and she responded quickly to address. The neighborhood was a little sketch, but no issues. "

"The room had a surface level clean. There were many areas that were not deep cleaned. The property has been remodeled with certain areas remaining dirty and outdated. The staff member that checked us is was incredibly rude. She approached the desk on her personal phone with headphones in. Once she finally acknowledged us I gave her my name and began spelling it for clarification. She promptly cut me off and said that I was “incredibly insulting” for spelling it for her. She began to lecture me thereafter. I had to interrupt her and ask her to finish checking me in. I spoke to the general manager the next day. She wasn’t dismissive but there was only a generic apology. Nothing more. We have five trips to Birmingham in the next three months. We will NOT be back."

"I was really impressed by how clean the rooms were and the staff was so helpful and friendly other than hearing a train at night everything else was great just wish the pool would of had water in it "

"Great location and comfortable for our group. It’s an older home that they’ve done a great job updating. There is some wear and tear (ex.microwave over the stove doesn’t work) but they’ve provided a microwave on the counter. Beds were comfortable for everyone in our diverse group and we had a blast. Would love a lamp in the main living area as the overhead is quite bright. Host was very communicative and the entire process was easy! "

"The host appeared interested to fix the issues but it was too late. My suggestion is for them to find another cleaning service because the property is nice but the upkeep is not being maintained. I found a cigarette bud inside a non smoking home. A dead fly on the pillow of a bed that my grandchild were going to sleep. The white curtains look stained from dog urinating on them. The trundle mattress filthy the furniture in the sitting area filthy the carpet filthy. We had to go purchase cleaning supplies to clean the areas that we were using since I was there for a surgical procedure. No concessions were offered other than sending the cleaning crew back out that didn’t properly cleaned the first time!"
