This resort is a bit away from the town but they offer transport to the sister resort in the town. It is a short walk to a beach with snorkeling. The grounds and pool are fantastic. The food in the restaurant is great.

This economy hotel is situated on a beautiful property across from a black sand beach in Tulamben. Their pool is at least 25 meters and is kept very clean for swimming and diving. The hotel offers free in pool training for those that want to then dive with one of their 4 instructors for a modest price. The furnishings and linen in the rooms need replacement, but the combo bath-european shower is phenomenal! The on-site restaurant did an impressive job of accommodating my gluten intolerance. Very few staff speak English well but all of them have an attitude of hospitality. Be warned that sugar ants are a fact of life in this region of Bali and I was fortunate have my belongings in zipped plastic bags. The location is isolated but perfect for couples and serious divers.

Det er svært med få ord, men et fantastisk dejligt sted med fred og ro. Utrolig flot park lignende have. Udsigten fra værelser mod havet til højre og vulkanen Agung til venstre. Et lille minus, der er en lille times gang indtil Tulanben.

It is fair, that's about it, the breakfast portion is not large, not much to do nearby, the site of hotel itself is large, with a huge pool, apart from that, everything is quite average, nothing spectacular. With that been said, it is also not a bad place that one would complain.

Overall review

Not the best location, but the best staff. They were very friendly all the time. The colesest area to eat around is Ames, which is quite far, but is worthy for one day or two if you do scuba diving.

Une superbe vue

Un très belle hotel a 2 pas de la plage , avec une vue du balcon magnifique ( volcan et ocean) un très beau jardin avec piscine ! Il est possible de louer du matériel de snorkeling directement a l’hotel

Very comfortable stay, will come back!

Top floor stay for three nights. Pool and surroundings are well maintained. Free breakfast choice limited but very delicious juice and pancakes. They have a bathtub which I did not use.. room is spacious and balcony gave a nice ocean and mount agung view. Perfect. Air conditioning is good too and plenty of power sockets for the photographers. Just note that if wifi is very important for you, avoid room 305 because the wifi signal is kind of weak there for now.

1 night stay

Hotel room was clean and large but needed updating. Sheets and towels were all clean but in need of replacement. View from the balcony of the volcano was beautiful. Swimming pool was huge. Big enough to swim laps. The gardens of the hotel were nice. We found Blue Hill to be a little isolated. The only place to eat was at the hotel and the food there was ok but nothing to get excited about. We ate from the Balinese menu and even that was a bit boring.

Belle vue et belle piscine

Belle chambre très spacieuse par contre la salle de bain mériterais un rafraîchissement. Superbe piscine et grand jardin ainsi qu'une vue magnifique sur le volcan et la mer depuis le balcon de la chambre. Une française à la réception qui est de très bon conseils cela a été une agréable surprise. Le petit déjeuner est correcte par contre on a dîner un soir et j'ai trouver les quantités un peu léger du coup on mangeait ailleurs. Bémol aussi sur la location de scooter plus cher que les autres maisons d'hôtes (65000rps ici et ailleurs 50000rps).

Hotel close to the beach, good place to dive

We just stayed for a night at this hotel since we just had one day to opt for diving. The hotel has a very nice property with beautiful garden and swimming pool. The hotel is located very close to the beach. we were put at a room on third floor. The room has excellent views of the beach on one side and mountains on the other side . This was so far the best hotel we stayed in Bali, as against our stays in Kuta and UBUD. Room was bigger than any other hotel we stayed in Bali and has balcony of its own. the hotel is very good to the price we paid and would wish to stay here again.. definitely recommended for a long stay..

Loved the Pool!!

We had a great stay at Blue Hill. The staff were friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. Beautifully kept gardens. The pool is a length-swimmer's dream - clean, good temperature and long!

Blue Hill Review

The pool was nice. The AC worked in 2 of 4 rooms pretty well. The hotel is very close to the dive sites and they offer good pricing on dives through the hotel. Overall it was a good deal and good place to stay. The view of Mt. Agung was great as well.

Reasonable priced hotel

Enjoyed our stay here, lovely big rooms, pleasant outlook, big pool. Food was a big letdown though, if that was improved it would be an awesome hotel. Lots stairs if you have trouble climbing stairs probably not the place for you. Not too far from the wreck and other hotel restaurants. Good value for money hotel.
