Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly. The guesthouse is situated in a wonderfully restored substantial village property, with great comfort and decor, as well as a very refreshing pool in which to cool down. "This hotel was a wonderful surprise. The owners were fantastic! We had dinner at the property and the meal was tremendous. The owners prepared and served the food. It was a home cooked meal with the quality of fine dining. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Not easy to find but helped to locate by an English speaking friend of the proprietor on the telephone. Joined other guests and family for the evening meal in the lovely outdoor garden dining area. After helping ourselves to the continental breakfast provided we spent a lovely hour in the outdoor swimming pool before our departure."

"Great night at this lovely family run hotel in Barcares on our cycling trip through the area. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and had enough space for spreading out all our gear. We faced the main busy plaza overlooking the most amazing play structure for children. The noise was not a problem after about 10 PM and we used the blinds metal blinds, which helped. Our hostess even had a secure area for our bikes, very much appreciated. Thank you. We also loved the hotel's furry greeter...
