We have stayed at the Townhouse Rooms before and both times have had excellent service from the friendly owners as well as comfortable, well equipped rooms. The location is perfect for Truro centre and the small breakfast room is a boon.

Lovely place to stay with very friendly staff. Room was very large and beautifully furnished and had all you would require. Excellent selection for continental breakfast. Short walk into Truro. Will definitely return.

Very comfortable and very convenient.
A delightful guest house in walking distance downhill to Truro city centre. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the self-service continental breakfast was fresh and varied. Each night we were able to leave our car in the carpark at the front. I've only given the eco-friendliness an average mark, as there was no separate recycling in the breakfast room, and LEDs throughout the bedroom would have been good! Minor criticisms.

We are pleased you you enjoyed your stay with us.On your remarks regarding eco friendly!the Cornwall council collect once fortnightour substantial recycling of cardboard, paper,bottles +tins, plastic, etc in 5 containers thisis from deliveries and 12 rooms & some fromthe breakfast room, you will see the odd itemin the waste bin the Breakfast room of cerealbox or two but that's all but as I say the fast amount of our recycling go's out Fortnightly.LEDs! ! you are referring Bulbs I think? wellif that's the case ALL our bulbs in Townhousehave been for a least 5/6 years now LEDs so you can rest assured we are very eco friendly. A lovely find with super hosts
A lovely find with super hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was just right and the home made coffee cake was very welcome by a weary traveller!

Such a beautifully kept house. Rooms were so clean,comfortable and attention to detail was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. The couple that run the hotel were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The garden at the back was a beautifully kept added extra. Cake was available in the afternoon to have with coffee and they were delicious. Im actually a qualified cake decorator and the owner had them baked to perfection. Stayed for 3 nights, would of happily stayed for longer. Would definitely stay there again if im ever in Truro again.

Family Wedding Trip with 6 friends
Our stay at Townhouse Rooms was excellent. We all booked online from Wisconsin and were pleasantly surprized by the beautiful modern and comfortable rooms. The On-Suites are excellent. Townhouse was close to our Wedding Venue and it is also close enough to walk to Truro's City Center. I would definitely recommend and hope we can visit again. Our hosts were very nice; had a wonderful visit during my nice breakfast.

Wonderful place and had a really comfortable stay. Spotless hotel within a short walking distance into Truro. The host even made a home made cake in the afternoon to have with coffee. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Room was high standard. Couldn’t fault the place 10/10

When we arrived, the welcome was sincere, and June was so helpful in providing local information to help us orientate ourselves, having never been to Cornwall before. Our room was warm and welcoming, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The big bed meant that we had a great night’s sleep every night. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice, and the bread/pastries were always fresh. The added bonus was being able to return after a full day to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of June’s freshly baked cakes in the breakfast room. Greg and June are both very people orientated and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you both so much. We certainly plan to return to this Cornish gem again.

Best boarding house in Truro
This is the nicest and most welcoming boarding house in Truro, and indeed anywhere I have stayed. The afternoon tea and cake is lovely - don't hesitate to consider this place for work stays or short breaks.

HelloThis potential Guest Pauline Pascoe did not staywith us! so she is not entitled to send a review. We rang Pauline Pascoe on the morning of her arrival date (10/1/2023) for information 1/ if she would need a free parking space 2/ her approximate time of arrival she then informed my Wife (June King) that she was unwell and would not be coming! my wife politely told her there would have to be a charge for one night stay in accordance with our cancellation policy. My Wife got the feeling if she hadn't rung her she would not have let us know at all. Politeness was used throughout the phone call and Pauline Pascoe made made no complaint of the charge during the call.

Have heard good reports and it delivered. Ideally located close to the venue I was at to host an event. Warm friendly welcome. Great value and very comfortable room. Generous breakfast option.

Autumn break
We really enjoyed our stay. All the arrangements worked well and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The location suited us, being close to the town centre. The accommodation was fine, clean and fresh every day. Although it did not include a cooked breakfast what was on offer more than made up for it and the ready availability of hot drinks and homemade cake in the dining room, was a bonus. Excellent value for money!
