The ground floor apartment has been finished to the highest specification and is fully loaded with quality appliances. The accommodation comprises one bedroom with fitted sliding wardrobes, a 5ft four poster bed, luxury en-suite bathroom with separate rain shower with body jets a 12 jet whirlpool bath, solid oak flooring throughout, 42″ HD Television with Full SKY HD+ package, including movies & sports, BT Sports, HD DVD player, high speed wi-fi internet, Bower & Wilkins bluetooth speaker, Apple Mini Ipad which links to Apple Music and our definative music library with in excess of 19,500 songs, a luxury fitted kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine. Very relaxing early spring holiday. The apartment was very clean with everything you need and more. The freshly prepared meal and bottle of wine was a very special touch which was much appreciated. The view of the sea from the apartment was amazing, we even had a couple of days when we could sit in the garden and watch the sea in the sunshine. Highly recommend a stay.

Stunning
I booked this property for a 4 night stay to celebrate my husbands 70th we arrived to find not only a beautiful apartment and location but a home cooked meal in the fridge and lots of little extras. We are so delighted with our experience we decided to stay a couple extra nights. If you want a nice chilled out break with views of the waves and surfers this is the place to come. Area has wonderful coastline and lots of walks.

A great place, fantastic view, friendly hosts. I enjoyed my stay very much. 10/10. Really the only thing to be aware of is Google maps will try to get you to take a right instead of a left.

A wonderful stay in a great home
Absolutely loved this stay, far more than I anticipated. If totally honest, I was a little concerned about the property when I arrived as the outside is a little rough and ready, but as soon as we entered, wow! All of my fears disappeared. The apartment is smaller but perfectly formed. Absolutely spotless, wonderfully furnished, with all of the comforts we could ever need and more. A wonderful array of welcome gifts and a fantastic home prepared meal greeted us along with sweet treats, doggie treats and Prosecco! Perfectly located, right on the beach with wonderful views. I cannot recommend cockleshell highly enough, we had a wonderful stay and felt very warmly welcomed and incredibly comfortable. We will come back for sure

A perfect apartment for us and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack and meal for our first night was a lovely touch. Apartment with absolutely everything in idyllic spot
We booked last minute with a little bit of unexpected nice weather forecast. Communication with the owner was absolutely spot on, and with a long journey down she thoughtfully prepared a meal for us, some wine and even a little treat for our small elder dog. As soon as we walked through the door we were delighted with our choice. The apartment is exceptionally well laid out for a couple and the views over to Porthtowan beach from either the living room or the garden were wonderful. There was nothing that we wanted for during our stay and it felt like very much a home from home with every small detail thought of. In the bay itself there is a well stocked village shop and a couple of good pubs, the Blue Bar in particular had a really great vibe, with lots of surfers and tourists using it, and had excellent views and food. I recommend whole heartedly this apartment if you want a peaceful break, where you can really unwind, but also located well enough for trips out throughout Cornwall. We will be back.
