Entering through the front door nearest the garage brings you to the ground floor, where you’ll find the games room, shower and utility room. The top level also features a spectacular open-plan living and dining area, perfectly complemented by a well-equipped kitchen, creating an ideal space for relaxing and socialising with family and friends.

    From here, step out onto the expansive balcony, which overlooks the stunning garden and provides distant sea views. The elevated position offers a wonderful sense of space and tranquillity, making it the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening sunsets. The balcony is a great place for entertaining, children can run free around the garden below, beware a stream runs alongside the garden so not suitable for unsupervised children.

    On the lower ground floor, the property continues to impress with an additional shower room, a fun and versatile games room, and a practical utility room. This layout makes Fernbank particularly well-suited to families or groups, offering both shared spaces and private areas for everyone to enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay.

    Portloe is a charming and unspoilt village on the Roseland Peninsula, set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It boasts a picturesque fishing harbour and a quaint cove, perfect for swimming and snorkelling in clear coastal waters. Nearby, you’ll find a variety of stunning beaches to explore, including Pendower Beach, Gorran Haven, and Towan Beach. The village itself has two welcoming pubs if you prefer to dine out, while the nearest village store can be found in Veryan, just a mile away.

    The renowned Southwest Coast Path passes directly through Portloe, making it a haven for walkers and nature lovers. The area’s mild climate supports a rich variety of wildlife and diverse flora, and there are many beautiful country houses and gardens nearby to explore. This level brings you directly into the main living area and makes it much easier to take your luggage straight to the bedrooms. While there is a lower door next tot the double garage for quick access, please be aware that the stairs there are very steep.
