"What a beautiful property -easy to find in a beautiful area with fab views. The property had everything you need and more especially in the kitchen and is well maintained. Loved the wood burning fire and there was excellent communication from the owner. Great location to enjoy St Mawes and Portcatho. Enjoyed meals at the Hidden Hut and The Standard Inn and easy access to King Harry Ferry. Would highly recommend and would love to come again"

Mark and Fiona have equipped the cottage with pretty much everything you'd need and my expectations were exceeded over and over. The garden is lovely and we hung out a lot in the conservatory and kitchen. I absolutely recommend this place if you're wanting a quiet place to stay while exploring the area."

"Location, location, location! The house has an incredible view of the beach, sea and sky, and everything in the village is within walking distance. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. "It was a little tricky to find initially as we arrived in the dark. The Barn has been tastefully furnished an absolute stylish kitchen and living area with lots of room. It was spotless. The bedrooms were of a good size. The only negative were the beds. They were ok but having a bad back and shoulder I do need a good mattress that supports. I do not sleep well with a bed too hard or bouncy. The outside area is lovely , however due to being away for most of the weekend and than rain we did not...

"We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all."

It's patently clear that many happy times have been spent here and ours was just another chapter. "Beautiful house located about 150metres from the beach. There are two shops next door where you can buy groceries and there is a fish and chip shop next to the shops. A two minute walk past the shops towards the beach is a nice pub. Couldn’t have asked for more"

"Our host Sue was absolutely amazing she was there to greet us and show us around the property. For us it was the ideal location, down a country lane quiet and away from any noise. The cottage was immaculate with everything you need, a home from home. It was also located within driving distance to Perranporth and it’s beautiful beach plus much more. We will return !"
