"OK hotel for the price. The inside looks good, but they need to do something about the interior of the building, it looks really creepy from the back. The cleaning staff needs to make sure the entire room is clean (the table was sticky and with visible spills; they should vacuum more carefully). Reception staff was very nice and helpful."

The Historic Brookstown Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel. Great breakfast although 7am start for businesses travelers is a bit late. Toilet in my room ran every 40 seconds so during the night I had to keep the bathroom door closed. Air-conditioning is a little loud but ok. Well kept hotel especially considering it's age. Would stay again. "
"We loved having so much room while helping our son move in and get adjusted to college. My husband ‘worked from home’ at the dining table, I did laundry and our two sons played darts and watched Netflix. A true home away from home. The home was clean, communication with the owners was super quick, the property backyard was huge and we enjoyed the privacy that provided. Would definitely stay again. It’s very close to wake Forest but we needed a car to get to wake and restaurants. Would definitely stay again’"
Stunning 3-bedroom house near The Coliseum & Downtown

"My daughter and I were in town for the weekend, for a local event and this home was only half a mile from the fairgrounds, very convenient and a very nice home.As the host noted, the home was completely remodeled, very clean and homey, loved the warm blue colors and they provided a bottle of wine, gotta love it! Upon arrival I had a few questions and the host was very timely with the responses and helpful! The back yard was clean and very spacious, and the front porch is enclosed, allowing for leisure without the bugs...big plus in the summer!I have stayed at a number of VRBO's and this home did not disappoint and was comfortable.Note: this is not to detract from our stay, but informational. There is only space for 1 car in the drive and there is street parking. So, if you have multiple cars, know that you will need to find parking on the street. This is a newer rental, the kitchen has basic necessities (for now), but if you are planning on doing a ton of cooking, keep that in mind and don't go after the host, they truly thought of all kitchen necessities...did I mention the wine. We had zero issue or concern with this as we were not doing much cooking and what was provided was more than enough for what what we needed. The only beds used were 2 queens and they were very comfy, yet firm, which I prefer and the pillows were fluffy...no issue catching some Z's and the sofa is also very comfy.Overall a very nice property and plenty of space for multiple visitors."
