Search Troulli hotels

The best area to stay in Troulli is within the village centre, particularly around the main square.

This central part of Troulli offers a traditional Cypriot village experience. It's where you'll find the local church, small shops, and tavernas, providing a real sense of local life. The streets are generally narrow and winding, typical of older villages, and properties often feature stone architecture.

For travellers seeking a quiet retreat and an authentic local experience, staying in the village centre is ideal. It allows you to enjoy the slower pace of life, interact with locals, and sample traditional Cypriot cuisine without having to travel far.

The best time to go to Troulli is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures and less humidity than the peak summer months. You'll find it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, such as the nearby beaches and walking trails, without the intense heat or the larger crowds of July and August.

For those looking to enjoy the Mediterranean climate at its finest, with temperatures superb for swimming and sunbathing, early summer in June is also an excellent option. The sea will be warm enough for a comfortable dip, and the days are long and sunny.

Conversely, if you're primarily interested in hiking or cycling and prefer cooler temperatures, the winter months from November to March can be quite appealing.
