"Couldn’t check in because there system was down. Had to wait an hour. Finally got in the room. Room was mostly clean, hairs in bathroom. Ew. No hair dryer. Called 3 times till they finally brought us one. Room had an adjacent door where the neighbor was slurring obscenities. Went and talked to front desk about it. They went and checked on the guy and said there was nothing wrong. He continued to yell curse words as he was probably drunk. They couldn’t move our room because they were full even though rooms were getting cleaned down the hall. We decided to leave bc we had a small child. I told the front desk, and they acted like they knew who the guy was who was yelling like he lived there. The silver lining is they gave me my money back for the two nights, thank the lord. Did not feel safe. On top of all that someone was singing when September ends in the bar to karaoke while all this was happening. That part made me laugh. Will definitely never stay there."

Julie is an excellent host and provides prompt communication. The location is excellent and coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The linens were high-quality, the space was spotless, and the little touches—like the curated coffee selection and local recommendations—made a huge difference. Location: Ideally situated! It was quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep but close enough to the heart of Kingston that we could easily explore the local shops and dining scene. The Hosts: Communication was seamless. They were professional, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in maintaining such a beautiful property. "Honestly there is nothing bad to day abou this property. The main house is beautiful and historic. The restaurant is also in that same house and I adored it. The food was great but I wish there a couple little details looked at in the main dining room. The smaller cabin rooms are perfect, clean, spatious, well stocked and you dont feel alone but you dont feel crowded. The land the area is so beautifil and I would definitly come back "

"If we had known about the active freight train trestle going right over the property we wouldn’t have booked. We couldn’t sleep at all, and left after one night. This is something people should know about before they book. "

"Beautiful and exactly as described! Our family loved the space, playing billiards, and the location! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all within walking distance. Sightseeing and shopping were only a few minutes drive in either direction. The wooden floors, while stunning, are noisy as others noted, but they didn’t impede on our stay. There was an issue with access when we arrived, but it was resolved in about 30 minutes and it was smooth sailing from there on. All in all, the space is great and has many niceties throughout that other hosts don’t think to include, like tissues and water bottles. We would recommend it!"

"House is beautiful!! Communication was great! Only thing negative to say and it is no fault of anyone, the yard was difficult for my senior dog to access, steep basement steps made it impossible for her to navigate. Other then that we had an amazing time!"
