"This looks like a newer hotel. All we did was get in late at night sleep and leave early the next morning. We stayed there because they had the best reviews of all of the hotels in town. Surprisingly, it was right off the freeway. I was thinking it was further in town. I would definitely stay again."

"The Kit Carson Bungalow was very nice. We were traveling thru and needed a place to stay for the night and were looking to book a place a couple of weeks in advance of our trip. We messaged Zach with a couple of questions and he was very responsive to us. The house was clean and well kept. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck in the morning with our coffee that came stocked and then ate breakfast at the restaurant that he had recommended. I would highly recommend the Kit Carson Bungalow to anyone looking for a quiet and safe place to stay during their time in Trinidad."
Charmer on 2nd - Beautiful home 2 blocks from Main

"If I could offer six stars for the overall experience, I would. The home was as advertised, but perhaps better. It was a well layed out property with good amenities. Given the summer that Trinidad has experienced, the air conditioning on both floors was terrific! The home is a two block walk or drive from the property. Astroll down main to the East gets you to the A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art. Another block or so and the Trinidad History Museum is a treat. All of this is an easy walk from the home. We found no problems with the "Charmer on Second", so the hosts had nothing to act upon. I will offer that we did get a welcome from hosts Chris and Jessica, and found them very willing and engaging to help with anything involving the property as well as any help with sights in and around Trinidad. Overall an outstanding and fun time."

"This is an older building. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners are working on the exterior. There is no pool. No free breakfast. If you need a place to sleep the beds are comfortable and new. The shower has hot water."
