This motel is older and lacks some amenities. However, the property is clean and quiet. The location of the property is also nice, with a Walmart located across the highway and the downtown about a mile or so away. For the cost, I would certainly stay here again.

Great place to stay.

Great place to stay. All of the rooms are in the midst of being upgraded. My room had a widescreen television and a high end bath mirror with an embedded LED lights that was awesome. The property manager is wonderful and tries to accommodate clients to the best of his ability. For the money, the Tower 64 can't be beat. It's also right across the freeway from the Super Walmart.

Comfy place

We stayed here for the first time and came back two weeks later as it’s a great half way point on our yearly trip. Kind staff, comfy beds, and big TV. It’s lot luxurious but very comfy and quiet. Just what we needed

This motel is in rundown condition. They were working on improving the rooms. There was only one set of towels in the bathroom. Had to ask for towels. there was no place to hang clothes, no dresser, needed chairs there was one lawn chair. Outside needed swept. It had a refrigerator and a microwave which was nice. It was fairly clean.

Staff are friendly, site is convenient location and quiet, room was clean and tidy, heating and cooling worked which was a great and we will be returning again shortly before we leave Colorado and am looking forward to the rest before travelling again

No frills place to crash

This motel is in a very convenient spot off the highway. Check in was fine. The room was dated but the furnishings were fine and things seemed clean. The main problem was it was too warm for me to sleep. There was a gas heater that even when I turned the thermostat all the way down did not really turn off. The air conditioner didn't really seem to be working. There was one tiny window in the bathroom that wasn't enough to let the heat out and cold air in. I don't sleep all that well anyway, and for a lot of people I doubt it would have been a problem.

My room was very easy to book online. The motel staff was very nice and accommodating with me having 2 large dogs. I had broken down heading out of town and they offered me an early check in. The room was very very clean and the pillows were awesume. The motel wasn't fancy, but the cost was good and had a certain zen to it. The night and early morning sky was fabulous! I would definitely stay again.

This funky, smaller hotel was very convenient from the highway, and quiet. We appreciated their pet policy. My two dogs enjoyed sniffing around the property. Could it have been a little cleaner? Probably, but the other factors outweighed this and we would stay here again.

Friendly stoners.

Quirky little place. Very clean. Condition of furniture and building is old and worn out. Asked if we wanted a 420 room. We didnt notice the little 420 on the electrical tower outside. Lots of 420 smoking going on. But its an alright place.

This was an ordinary motel, but the customer service put it at the top of the charts! At first it seemed like many other roadside motels I've stayed at... But from the moment we pulled in the parking lot, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. The place is also set up so you have ample opportunity to meet other travelers, with a table and chairs in front of each room . With a referral from the front desk, I also found safe rides of Trinidad with whom I booked a ride to the train station in the morning. Id actually give this roadside motel 5 stars!

I chose Tower 64 because of the nostalgia and the price. I knew it would be older and basic. Rhett, the manager, made me feel welcome and safe. I never saw one bug, dead or alive. The smell was off a bit, but nothing to complain about as it probably had to with condensation. I will probably stay there again.

I was captivated about the Mountain View that’s short for highway and some trees. I started itching as soon as I pulled the covers back that was after I disinfected the room with Lysol and sanitizer and I laid under the covers and I started itching badly. So I took my allergy meds and passed out. I did not hear much noise which was very pleasing. The hot tub was covered I guess you just request to get in the hot tub. I was disappointed because there was not information provided about the hot tub. I actually didn’t see the hot tub until it was pointed out to me so I guess it’s a secret. This motel should be no more than $35 a night we had no chair in the room for our desk. The walls have a lot of damage which is being covered up and not repaired. There was an odd smell when entering the room. The people sitting outside were asking us personal questions like they were the investigators. I must be honest if your going on vacation don’t stay here unless you want to enjoy the rough side of town. Some people love the scenery but for me it was not worth what they asked for the night stay. It’s a easy spot for people who are drive bys like I am coming in and going the same day type of people or someone who doesn’t have standards. I am always willing to give someone a chance but I was not happy with this visit I felt like I was swindled. They need to put this motel down to a 1 star.
