Shops/restaurants/bars/attractions We actually stayed in a suite opposite the main hotel- every convenience was there/washing machine/dishwasher/crockery/microwave / excellent storage and a gorgeous room! Any small query we had was dealt with with alacrity to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were well furnished and the housekeeping did an immaculate job. The restaurant is top class, Michelin starred cuisine, and the food has an excellent range of dishes. The spa provides a beautiful swimming pool in the basement and the massages both myself and my wife received were very professional and beneficial. The site of the hotel right in the heart of Trieste make it an absolutely perfect destination for a holiday or short stay. "

"Would stay here again. The staff is excellent—professional and helpful, especially Filippini at the front desk, and Tommy “the King of breakfast.” Breakfast buffet was outstanding and well worth the price. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room and facility was b very clean and well-maintained. Room had a few quirks like poorly distributed outlets, but overall our stay was outstanding. We are traveling all over Italy and Paris and this was a great value for the price. "
