"We would've liked to spend more time there but our trip was cut short. Beautiful land, and very much loved the Tipi! I wouldn't stayed longer but since I didn't plan for coffee, the morning felt lacking! Next time I would be better prepared. I wasn't clear that there was a small kitchen to prepare basic things. It is so beautiful though. Great for a couple or to spend solo time. Be ready to relax!"

"Another great visit to the Dobson house in the books! Brenda and Ruby are great host's - We entertained local friends one night, cooking in the well appointed kitchen was easy and fun. The star of the show- the sky- did not disappoint! Sunrise, epic mid day views and the sunsets- all amazing. Great day hikes, and star gazing - love this location!"

"This is a little slice of heaven on earth. Host accommodated last minute change to our reservation without difficulty. If you are looking for the perfect spot to disconnect and unwind from everything-this is it. Each morning we enjoyed coffee sitting at a table in the barn, watching farm animals and magpies and hummingbirds; then we would walk down the road deeper into the farm and enjoyed looking at all the old relics displayed. We returned to our cabin and sat on the shaded porch, listening to the breeze whispering through the trees and watching birds at the birdbath while enjoying playing cards. Eric was charming and he enjoyed giving my husband a razzing about never wearing shoes. We would stay on the porch playing cards until we could no longer see them at night or just rest and relax in the cabin. I enjoyed cooking a meal each day for us in the small but well equipped kitchen of our cabin and we would return to the shaded porch to eat and continue soaking up the rustic experience that this place provides. Truly disconnected from the chaos of society. I hope we are blessed enough to return one day."
