"The room was excellent (deserving of a 5 star) and everything worked. The old-style park outside your door was also convenient. When checking in there was no one at the desk and other staff had to locate him. He was friendly enough though. They seemed to have a large bar and restaurant portion but no free breakfast was provided."

"On checking in, tI thought I had hit a home run. Until I got into the room. Smallest room I’ve had ever. The rooms are old and sad. Half the plugs near the bed for charging electronics didn’t work. The sink drain was broken. The room was on one of the courtyards making it the most pet friendly place I stayed in a 2 week trip. The ice machine was in a secure area outside the reception to their restaurant, which was which was locked except 3-9 pm when the restaurant was open. Inconvenient. The pet area was cleaner than the room. I wanted to tell the staff, but when I went to check out, the receptionist was too busy talking on the phone. There was one person ahead of me, but the receptionist kept answering the phone. Looked like she was the only staff at the desk, and was never trained to take care of the customers waiting in front of her. Her supervisor should teach her to answer the phone”Thank you for calling the Sagebrush Inn, would you please hold. After waiting 5 minutes, I dropped the keys on the desk and left. If she didn’t understand customer service why should I care. Answering the phone while people are waiting is the same as having 3 people in line and serving the last person first"
