Wonderful option on Como.

The cafe bar area was wonderful in the evenings. The morning buffet was awesome and unexpected for Italy. Great little villages nearby and convenient.

Breakfast was excellent, room was clean, location is excellent with large balcony and lake views are amazing, the reception was very pleasant and helpful provided a lot of information. I would have given 5 star rating except for I requested kettle for hot water and the bartender expected me to bring the cups and pot back downstairs, never have I experienced this even in a 2 star hotel.

Great Hotel!!

View is perfect most of rooms have balcony looking over to Bellagio and Varena, restaurant has view looking onto lake with picturesque mountains. Restaurant staff were fantastic, very warm and friendly. Would recommend to all. Lastly, bus stops and easy access to ferry right outside hotel. Will be back!!

Overall great location! & staff was amazing, one thing that we wished was the room being a little bigger and more spacious and a more comfortable bed but overall area was nice and easy to arrive to, ferry is a cross the street and staff was able to support on taxi needed.

Great value in a great area. It was lovely having the ocean view. I thought we would have further views but we have wonderful unobstructed ocean views. Love Tremezzo and this hotel has great value for the area. AND, right next to the ferry station!

Excellent location. Great breakfast buffet. Excellent staff. The ferry station is just right in front of the hotel. Scenic, walking distance to Villa Carlotta. Lot’s of restaurants close by and they have a great one within the hotel as well.

We overall enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Incidentally, they overbooked and we were upgraded to their most senior suite, so that was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is old and perhaps a little bit dated, but clean and super conveniently located right across the street from the ferry terminal. There’s a bar downstairs that seemed to have a live performer every night, so that was a nice touch, however, we ended up not staying long because the drinks were pretty overpriced. I think we would stay in this hotel again solely based on the location, but might choose other options nearby if they were more affordable and have more amenities to offer.

What a beautiful place to visit. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. Staff are very friendly. It would be nice to have better pillows. Small issue. We had the best time!

Fantastic view of the lake

Chose this hotel for the location- directly opposite the ferry stop so convenient for travelling anywhere on the lake. Had a room with a lake view which was amazing! Room very clean.

Loved this place! If you book a room with a lake view, the view is unbelievable and the price is far less than anywhere else on the lake with that kind of view. Super convenient to the ferry and just a few minutes drive to Menaggio. There is public parking that is free at night across the street but it fills up quickly so that can be an issue if you arrive late. Loved the room and great area

Great location!!! Right in front of Lake Como. Amazing views and very convenient as there's a bus stop and a boat stop within 20 meters of the lobby. We noticed the hotel bar was always full of people singing and having a good time, although patrons here are mostly over 60 years old, they all seem to have a great attitude! Dinner served at the hotel restaurant on our first night was a giant disappointment. It was so horrendous that we decided to skip all meals here, even though we had paid extra to have breakfast included. Plus, dinner was super expensive! Over 30 euros each for the worst meal we have ever had. I do recommend it. Room was nice and terrace is lovely. Just have dinner somewhere else and you'll be fine.

Very good experience for a 3 star hotel, it felt more like a 4 star. The best part of the stay was the location for a quiet experience of lake como, amazing views and very convenient with the bus stop and ferry pier right outside the hotel. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Bar was always busy and had a good vibe in the evenings, music entertainment some nights too. Mainly older (60 ) guests and mainly British. No pool towels and not allowed to use the room white towels, bring your own or you can buy some thin quick drying towels from reception for 10€ if you want. Pool is very clean and well maintained, no rush for the sunbeds in the morning but do fill up by 10am-11am on a good sunny day. The fine dining restaurant was great, recommend this as a treat. Bring a 3 pin travel adapter, some rooms only have accessible plugs in the bathroom with a usb port next to the bed or some rooms had a normal plug socket next to the bed. Reception also sell travel adapters for 10€ if you don't have the correct one. Italy have 3 different types of plugs you can use. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.
