With new COVID-19 safety measures in place, travel looks a bit different at the moment. Here's what you should know before you get on that plane to Trevalli:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before booking. Also check if there are any requirements you'll need to follow on arrival, such as taking a COVID-19 test.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, keep your face mask on. You will be required to briefly lower it to verify your identity. Those who refuse to wear a mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• Do not hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, position your pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• You are now allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. You'll need to remove it for X-ray screening.
• Put any personal items (phone, keys and wallet) in your carry-on rather than a bin to minimize handling during screening.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA agent will need to open your bag for inspection.
