Hi Melissa, To address some of your concerns regarding your stay please see below. The rate for your double queen room (2 queen beds) is the going rate in Townsville at this time. There is an apartment complex 1km away for disadvantage people but this is not a homeless shelter, it is reduced priced accomodation. I would like to note that we do have CCTV in both of our carparks and the Police Head Quarters directly across the road. Regarding your room, there was no mould in the shower and I have informed the cleaners to spray a smelling agent to reduce the "musty" smell, even though we did not find it present in the room.

Good Morning Robert, The bath was useable as it was checked after you checked out. It was explained to you that the TV volume was limited to 20 as it would disturb the other guests, something you stated that you heard other guests in their room. Upon checking the volume, it is quite loud at 20. We have no control of the traffic outside, but having stayed in the hotel myself many, MANY times, it is not an something easily heard, especially on level 2. For someone who had complained they could not hear the TV due to the limit set and then complained about the volume of noise outside the bedroom, seems to be contradicting. The car park was explained upon you checking in and there is even a loading zone at the reception doors for ease of bringing luggage into the hotel. We have many guests stay with us and have no issues getting in and out of our car parks. I refused a "substantial" refund of $100 as you already received one for $26 due to the mixer not working, but the bath could have been filled with the shower head, which detatches from the wall. Why should we issue a full refund due to your physical attributes and you stayed the complete night? You were quite ok to use our complimentary ammenities such as soaps, shampoos, conditioner, body lotion, milk, tea, coffee and bottled water, and then ask for more! You were even ok to stay at the hotel the entire night. While we tell most of our guests that we wish to see them again, we are quite ok not to have you return with your racist slurs. Hi James, We are sorry about the toilet paper situation. Please rest assured this is a once off occurance and the staff have been notified.
