Cabin Name: Mountain Bliss

Located in the Laurel Valley Community on a dead end road, surrounded by beautiful, majestic trees, Mountain Bliss offers something for everyone.

**SEASONAL SWIMMING POOL AND YEAR ROUND FITNESS CENTER AND CLUB HOUSE INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY.**

You'll find high quality decor, linens, towels, and everything you could want to make 'Mountain Bliss' your perfect home away from home in the Great Smoky Mountains.

It is our goal to create a tranquil and serene setting that will help our guests to unplug and to enjoy the spirit of the mountains and the wildlife that lives here. Don't worry, we've provided YouTubeTV and Wi-Fi, just in case you can't give up the gadgets totally.

Mountain Bliss is decorated in a luxury cabin theme to match the beautiful interior of hand-hewn logs. Nothing says 'mountain cabin' like a warm evening by a crackling fire; so, during the season, enjoy the warmth and sounds of the real, wood-burning stacked-stone fireplace.

The kitchen has all the comforts of home, with everything you might need to cook full meals - or to nuke a burger.

If you love to grill out, we have furnished you with a gas grill for those steaks you get at the local IGA.

The huge outdoor hot tub will pamper you before you slip into one of the two queen sized beds for a great night's sleep. Luxury linens, towels, pillows and blankets are all supplied. There's a walk-in closet to store the extra 'stuff' you brought along.

It is our desire that you will call Mountain Bliss your home away from home!! If it not available for the date that you desire, take a look at Bear Meade or Bear Haven, two other premier Smoky Cabin Rentals.

Would book again!
The cabin was even better then the pictures. It was super clean and such an easy no contact check in and out. The pool at the clubhouse was very nice also. The hot tub was clean and fun to sit in at night while listening to nature. The cabin is in a bear sanctuary, so you will definitely see some bears up close. We seen 5 during our week stay. Including a mama and her cubs. I would definitely book again. The roads are verrrry steep. The driveway did suck I will admit but the views were worth it! Definitely would need a four wheel drive or at least an all wheel. We had an amazing stay.

clean and quite
the cabin location was great. roads going up where not bad at all. driveway is steep (asphalt or cement driveway would be a game changer for this place)! cabin owners where very nice and helpful.. cabin was clean and good priced, beds where soft and so where pillows. there is creaking whenever someone moves upstairs. not a big deal. and downstairs shower sprays kinda hard. cabin had everything we needed. and there was even a bear walking down the road one morning. we also saw other bear in our neighborhood when taking trash out. was a great cabin and a good stay! do recommend!

Great gateaway
The wife and I went for a nice relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what took place. Nice and secluded very private but still close enough to the area to enjoy its surroundings. The only negative thing I would need to say is the upstairs shower water pressure is so hard it feels like a pressure washer is hitting you other than that great experience.

Driveway needs attention
The cabin was nice. The driveway is atrocious and literally caused me anxiety daily just thinking about it. It is gravel, as pictured. It is circular, as pictured. However it is full of divots, both sides are extremely steep, the gravel is loose and there's nothing to prevent you from going over the edge. On other end of the driveway on each side is another driveway/house, with a drop off the mountain. This particular cabin is located in the back part of the community, which is great for privacy. However, we cut all of our day trips short because of my fear of the driveway. The laundry facilities were amazing to have, the kitchen was functional. The beds were super comfortable. I did find two rolling papers on top of the dresser in the upstairs bedroom and a scorpion in the upstairs bathroom. We didn't see any bears, but we saw deer, bunnies, squirrels, and a fox. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Good Cabin- Peaceful
Cabin is very peaceful, however a bit of a drive to get to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas. Pretty clean, beds are good, floors upstairs are very noisy for sleepers downstairs. Pool table location made it very hard to be able to play (we did not locate a short pool stick). Driveway is VERY steep so heads up! Good place to stay for a quiet break!

Nice cabin, strange details
The inside of the cabin was clean but it is starting to show its age. The outside of the cabin is nearing neglect. There is mold/mildew on the hot tub, the cover, the shower liners, etc. We were encouraged to tip the cleaning staff (to the point of an envelope being left by the front door with a note.) But, as part of check out, you are supposed to clean nd put away any dishes you use and take the trash. There are literally no outdoor trash cans. At the main entrance/ exit, there was no trash cans. So, our trash rode home with us. It was minimal but imagine if we had stayed for a week. The pool table is nice but too close to the wall on two of the four sides.. The upstairs shower will literally peel your skin off. It is more like a pressure washer than shower. This cabin did not stock extra toiletries (like most seem to) or even basics (like coffee filters or trash cans.) The hot tub does not encourage folks to relax. The magnets on the fridge tell you "You are in bear country." The hot tub is oriented with the front of the house, but there is a 3' gap wherein anyone on the road could see you in the hot tub. The back fence ends with another 3' gap which leads off into the woods. I kept worrying a bear woukd walk right up to the hot tub. We only wound up using the hot tub for maybe an hour as a result. We travel to cabins about 3-4x a year and have for several years. The real fireplace was nice and the cabin was clean. But, this was not our favorite cabin.
