loved this cabin for our getaway to great smoky mountain park. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfy, kitchen had everything we would need, even though we did not use it, too many good dining options near by :) Close to entrance to the park, and easy access to pigeon forge.
The cabin was clean and Mr. Felton was an awesome host. The close proximity of Townsend was great. We could walk where we needed to go. The trout fishing was also good!
My husband and I stayed here while we were visiting my family. The host was cery helpful and friendly. The cabin was clean and cozy. The little brook behind it was so nice to listen to in the morning with our coffee.
We found the property to be very quiet. Allowed us to get some well-deserved rest. The home was clean and had everything that we needed. It was very conveniently located to all the amenities that are in Townsend.
Very quiet, cute little cabin in Townsend. Plenty of room for a smaller group. Very close to Cades Cove. Had a small issue with the door code but the property manager handled it very quickly.
The cabin is well maintained, clean, and stocked with the basics. The location is excellent - in a quiet neighborhood just half a mile from 321 and the multipurpose path that runs a long it. If you like hot tubbing, this would be a good choice. I found the tub a bit intrusive as the motor came on regularly and it took up most of the back porch.
The property was located on a secluded road with few other places and very quiet. Gatlinburg was very crowded so it was very nice to stay in Townsend. The park entrance was just a couple miles down the road. The whirlpool tub in the cabin was great after a long day on the trails.
This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to town and has a beautiful deck overlooking a creek. The host was quick to respond when we needed some light bulbs and the house is cozy and comfortable. It is the perfect launching spot for exploring the Smoky Mountains.
We love this cozy cabin. It is located on a very quiet road that is a dead end, so no thru traffic. The beds slept great and it was very clean. The hot tub is outside on a big deck overlooking a small stream. We will stay here again. Mr Jimmy helped me twice with the access code. Thanks Jimmy if you are reading this😄
WE PICKED THIS PROPERTY DUE TO ALL THE FAVORABLE REVIEWS ONLINE. THE PROPERTY WAS CLEAN, FULLY STOCKED HAD EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED. IT WAS COZY AND CENTRALLY LOCATED NEAR THE SMOKY MOUNTAINS AND MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES. I WOULD DEFINITELY RENT THIS PLACE AGAIN. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE TRYING TO STAY AWAY FROM THE TOURISTY PARTS OF GATLINBURG YET STAY CLOSE ENOUGH TO ENJOY THEM. THE OWNER WAS OUTSTANDING VERY HELPFUL AND EASY TO REACH.

We enjoyed the cabin and the hot tub but it said it was on a creek and there was no creek and I didn’t know it was a one lane road. The only reason we booked it was because it was supposed to be on a creek. But overall we enjoyed our stay and the cabin was very nice and peaceful. We didn’t have any trouble and it was a quiet neighborhood.
Located in Townsend it is perfect location for everything “on the quiet side “… but yet handy enough to get to anything else.
Communication with the owner has been the best I have experienced.
Everyone has their own preferences in mattress but I found this one to be one of the best I have experienced so far. It is a two bedroom so if you don’t like one… try the other.
Kitchen is situated with the basic items but with so many good choices to eat out we didn’t use it much except for breakfast.
I will definitely check out this property again for availability in the future when we come back.
We spent four nights in 255 "Brook" enjoying the ability to cook breakfasts and two dinners in the full-sized kitchen. (The other two were at "Steak and Trout" and "Riverstone"; both had excellent $18 grilled trout dinners). We spent two days in Cades Cove, and one day in the Tuckaleechee Caverns and Railroad Museum. Brook was close to both. We worked on a puzzle on the dining table. We spent time every evening in the hot tub on the large back deck which was also nice to sit on and read. Beds were comfy. We didn't use the Jacuzzi in the bedroom, the washer, the fireplace (80's outside) or the TV. Soap was provided for the dishwasher and washer as were towels. The cottage was very clean and the check-in easy (door code). James was quick to respond to the questions we had. We won't look anywhere else for a place to stay in Townsend. Thanks, James.

Great Getaway Cabin
This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway…clean, comfortable and well furnished. It’s close to restaurants and attractions but far enough into the woods to be peaceful.
