This is a wonderful location for hikers and nature seekers. Quick access to many homes in the Smokies via Townsend or Wear Cove Gap Rd. Townsend has groceries, coffee, and a good visitor center.
Great spacious secluded cabin with picturesque mountain views and nice amenities, still within reasonable distance to area attractions and great smoky mountains national park
Great place to stay. Secluded with awesome views. Game room was enjoyed by all. Communication was great with owners. Wildlife viewing is also good around the cabin. 😀.
Had a great time, enjoyed all the amenities, plenty of space for our 7 adults, nearby to good hiking areas. Would have appreciated/needed more towels in the bathroom… need to replace the lacking pool cue chalk and ideally the bridge support for the pool table/cue shots.
The directions to the cabin were accurate and easy to use. The area is very quiet and relaxing.
We enjoyed the view from the cabin decks. The family played pool and hung out in the late evenings.
Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely cabin with us.
The property was lovely with a fantastic view. The children were surprised and then delighted by the bear family that occasionally appeared on the porch. We stayed for 6 nights, and had good access to facilities while at the same time were outside any tourist traffic. The drive up the hill to the property is narrow and steep.
We all had a BLAST! The very first day we were greeted by a mama bear and her two cups! It was such a site to see. The view is anything but lacking. It was absolutely stunning!
Plenty of room in the cabin, our 10yr old boys loved playing pool, air hockey, darts, and foosball!
This place has a great view of the mountains from the deck, well appointed kitchen, and bears! It worked perfectly for our yearly trip with friends. It was located close enough to everything we wanted to do giving a secluded home base. Communication with host was speedy when needed! We had an issue with a neighbor and the host was quick to help out with that! Much appreciated! The only things that could have been better are the cleanliness of the hot tub, the upstairs jetted tub and the downstairs shower. They were not enough to mess up our trip which was amazing!
The property was better than I expected. Great secluded area. In the heart of the woods. Couldn't ask for a better location. Many black bears visited daily. Not just one, but at least four, throughout the day, every day. It was spectacular seeing them. My grandkids loved the black bears. The cabin was very spacious. There were 8 in my party, and there was plenty of room. The cabin was well kept. It was all rustic, and had an inviting feeling to it. The living area, game room, and deck made it all feel like home. Great communication with the host. Had an issue with the hot tub, Sally was on it instantly. Got it resolved quickly, no more issues after that. Very welcoming hosts. Can't say enough about them. I would definitely stay here again. A.
The house was overall amazing. Large comfortable beds, comfortable sitting areas and the most amazing deck with the most amazing view. We had 9 people in the house- 5 kids (ages 7-17) and 4 adults. The only thing that might have made it better was instead of 4 king beds to maybe have one room with 2 twins or something where the teens didn’t have to share a bed (siblings fight and so that created tension with who gets the big bed and who has to sleep on the couch). But at the end of the day- that has nothing to do with the house and how amazing it was. It did work out well- the view man- worth everything. It was great to have a large enough kitchen to cook several meals and a dining room table to seat us all. Sally was so easy to communicate with and was helpful on recommendations for our trip. 100% would do this place again.
We had a great time at this cabin! I would definitely recommend it to others. We would love to go back sometime. The place has great views; including, each day we were there, we saw bears around the place and we all thought that was exciting. Being at the end of the road, it had plenty of parking and was very secluded. It's really close to the Great Smokey Mountains park entrance and Townsend! We enjoyed ice cream down in Townsend each night. We had some multi-aged kids as well as some elderly grandparents and the place worked out great for everyone with plenty of space. The air hockey, pool table, and foosball were definitely used. The wifi worked well too. We went to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg each day too and that worked out well.
Thanks for sharing your great mountain cabin with us. It was a great place for a summer family vacation. You did a great job with your communications. I really appreciated your welcome text and the instructions on the refrigerator.
Thank you!!!
The cabin was amazing and the location was perfect along with the host being the best. Highly recommend u will enjoy ur stay here. Will definitely stay again.
The cabin was beautiful, very well maintained and clean. The host was so helpful and friendly. We will most definitely stay here again and will refer this cabin to others. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your amazing cabin.
Amazing communication from owners! Always answered questions quickly. Cabin was amazing! So much space and wonderful amenities. The kids loved the game area. Very clean with everything you could need. The only suggestion I could offer is some more seating around the fire pit. We came to celebrate our youngest daughter turning 12. Such a memorable birthday weekend in an amazing cabin. The bear sightings added to the fun.

Love this place!
My family (along with two others) had a great experience at this cabin!!! Open and spacious floor plan, lots of hang out space, huge dining table, nice bedrooms. Huge deck with gorgeous views (and a hot tub!). Cozy fireplace. Super close to the national park and some great hiking trails. I like that it felt secluded. So basically it was a really great place! As a bonus, this owner was so nice and easy to work with. Would definitely go back!
This cabin was awesome - you should book if only for the views. This cabin is in a really quiet area, so it's incredibly private! I can't recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back!
I would say one minor thing, put your heaviest sleepers in the basement bedroom. There is a utility closet in that room and some piece of equipment that kicks on throughout the night that is quite loud.
