"The kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking. The AC did not keep my room cool. The wasn't clean the floors felt gritty even with my shoes on. The floors felt like you were walking on sand.,"

"The room had a large amount of hairs (shaved hairs) in the bathroom on the floor behind the door. I stayed there over 2 weeks ago and have still not received my deposit back. It still shows as pending on my bank side. The staff states it just takes a while for it to complete. It was not thoroughly cleaned after the last guest. I won’t stay here again, that is for certain!"

"Denise is a fabulous host! The house was older as well as the furnishings but I loved it! Me being me did a deep clean and fixed some boards in the fence and a few things in the house. Denise is great on getting back to you, she is VERY kind, compassionate, considerate and checks in on her guest to make sure all is well. She is passionate about her properties and it shows not only inside but out. The yard was well maintained by her son and grandson. I cut many tree branches out of the fence, I only wish I had more time to work further in the yard. My babies and I felt safe and secure at the house. Neighbors all were very friendly. The people who live on the street are very well established in their homes and they too make sure their properties are safe and secure. I would highly recommend Denise and her property. Condiments in the fridge that I also added to upon leaving (new not opened) I enjoyed the mints and had to get more so others may enjoy them upon their arrival. The washer and dryer were a huge help and appreciated. I would most certainly book again in the future if I pass through again. Don’t be afraid to ask! "The hallways were dingy, 1st room smelled like cheap disinfectant, 2nd room a bit better. Room was cold, heat brought it up, but no way to turn off the fan, which ran all night. Sheets were scratchy. TV didn't connect, so couldn't watch a show before going to sleep. Breakfast was pretty good, but the coffee was like used motor oil. Stay at Motel 6, and eat a good breakfast at Black Bear. Money ahead."

"We loved our stay. Had plenty of room for the whole family. We were unsure if the pool was ready for use, but ended but not being warm enough to use it. Neighborhood was quiet and allowed us to enjoy some time on back patio too. Highly recommended."
