"Room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. Staff very helpful and quick to respond! We had trouble with our room safe and maintenance was there with in minutes once notified! Food was always fresh and large variety of items in buffet."

"We had never been to Cabo before. The Hyatt looked very nice in pictures, so we thought, lets go! We were very impressed and pleased with this location for many reasons. The first few days we really didn't want to go anywhere, and we needed to just relax. There is a huge market about a half a mile away, uphill, but I need the exercise. We made breakfast in our room and enjoyed our view of the ocean from our balcony. Didn't hurt that there were whales everywhere putting on a show. They ham it up for the whale watchers, but I'm ok with that because they were easily visible from our balcony, and it was amazing to watch. Bringing binoculars next time, but they were only 150-200 yards away. The Hyatt had great dinners every night, and we took full advantage of it! We loved the food there!! Our waiter Arturo was great. For that matter, the whole staff was very nice. Always smiling and laughing with the guests, very friendly, and they seemed to be having fun at their jobs, but working hard at the same time. The bellboy Fernando was also especially nice to us. He delivered our bags, showed us our room, made sure we knew where everything was, checked out beach chairs and umbrellas for us, and always with a huge smile. We also enjoyed pool aerobics, a salsa lesson, and especially the cooking class with Chef Rodolfo that featured chsalsa, guac, and ceviche. The Chef taught us a lot and was really funny. Also, we got to eat large portions of everything. We can't wait to go back! "

"This is my second time at the Santa Fe. This time we travelled with our friends and had our room in building 4. We were very happy again with the resort, the staff and the cleanliness and the food was great. We stayed for 10 days and only have one complaint. The Steakhouse needs an overhaul on how it handles its visitors. We went twice during our stay. The first time we were told they didn’t take reservations and gave us a buzzer and said it would be about an hour. We got in 90 minutes later. Service and food was wonderful on that occasion. On February 1st we attended again and were given a buzzer and were told an hour to hour and 15 minute wait. After an hour and a half we returned to see how much longer only to find people on the waitlist after us had already been let in. Other people waiting said they were told to come at a certain time to get in with no buzzer. One couple complained and was allowed in while another couple guests who were told to come in were then told to get back in line while the couple who complained got in. The lady working giving out buzzers asked me 5 times for my room number and how many guests. We finally got in almost 2 and a half hours after signing up. The waiter basically ignored us, table wasn’t cleaned, we had to ask for silverware, had to ask for buns, were told there was no red wine but clearly saw there was and had to ask again for it. Horrible service. Otherwise the resort is fantastic. "
